Something that really scares the snow out of you
Condemned 2 managed to scare the hell out of me. It's a horror-FPS based around melee combat. It's pretty awesome but kinda short.

Haha! I do have FEAR 2, and it's scarry yes, and it's creepy too (The scenes with ghosts) But i really really hate the ending, well i hate the last level said in another way.

Call me a pussy, but i did have some trouble sleeping after both fear games! so i'm seeking that feeling again from another game.. HELP..

FEAR was scary as hell(at the first glance),FEAR2 was ok. Dead space is is comparable to FEAR2.
If you liked FEAR2,you will like this too.
I mean,playing with the lowest setting of brightness will make you get the message.
At least,it is longer than fear2.

falout3 tells you enough of the story that you dont need to play the others trust me i have em all
assasins creed is on my top game list its stealthy sneaky and fun
crysis ive heard is not that good

Hmm, i'll give it a shot ;p Sounds like it has alot of "Dark Room Shocks" ;p Those works too, but they do not leave one with a starnge scared feeling like FEAR series scarry moments..

The problem is the not style change, the problem is that it is a really weak game. Fallout 1 and 2 was epic, Beths crap of a spinoff is only at the levels of medicore.

Beths crappy spinoff sucks! I don't even get how they can be compared. It is medicore, not epic. It turned into a random action explorer without proper plot and is filled with plotholes like a piece of swizz cheese.

I like Fallout 3. The areas are much more interesting than in Oblivion so you'll really have some fun exploring.
The sooner you stop comparing it to its predecessors the better.

Fallout 3 was a competent game. More emphasis on action than story if I get it right. Anything else is just fan rage. The greatest difference I saw was perspective-change and I think bethesda did that well.
EDIT: very weak =/= mediocre

The Death# I do not understand why your think Crysis sucks?
I just started playing it again, and it doesn't need anything? The Graphics is fantastic, the gameplay is fun, and the game is not short at all, but it's not long either.
I am defenitly going to buy Crysis Warhead and Dead Space

Anyway, I just ordered Dead Space, gonna be awesome now that the nights are beginning to get dark. Summer sucks for horror games (can't get my room dark enough, some light always slips through)

I was just playing fallout 3, I'm trying to get all the weapons of the game (there are already 4 or 5 of them I can't get anymore. most of them didn't look that good, but I can't get the ant's sting or the protectron's gaze which look quite cool.
the funny thing about this game is that unlike most FPS, your character can gain skills and become very powerful. my character was 1st supposed to mainly use light weapons (shotguns, snipers, assault rifle) then boosted it in heavy weapons and got pyromaniac to deal with stronger ennemies with the flamethrower. in the end, I got curious, and decided to put a lots of points in energy weapons where I was weak. seriously tried the laser rifle for the 1st time and liked his reliability. currently I'm mostly using the waser wifle in vats mode with action man and reaper run.
