Well I never drank it, but if you are brave enough you should try old fashion homemade moonshine. Smells a bit like gasoline though. It is also called White Lightning, White Mule, and some Rotgut (if poorly made). Some of the highest proof alcohol you can 'safely' (sometimes not so safely) drink.

RIGHT! Moon sugar...mmmm so sweet! I remember just running everywhere looking for a certain character passing next to others and it was like a chorus: "outlander...what do you want...outlander...my teeth itch".
Although it's not a beverage, I've enjoyed a few of my mom's recipes where she used white wine. Sadly, there wasn't enough to help us forget our problems.
(And yes, _______, homemade cooking is great. Put down the bag already.)
