Heh, thanks. I've made some myself but cannot create a new blank artifact. Like I told you before, new blank objects work fine now, thanks to your fixes and instructions. However, I have no idea how to properly set the properties of an artifact, namely the type and subtype. Everything is OK in the editor and on the adventure map, but doesn't work in game when a hero equips one.

I planned to ask the Russians and registered at their forum, but it seems my registration needs to be approved by the admin, which apparently never happened?

Anyway here are some samples - I'm aware those need to be resized:





Actually I got a bunch of unorthodox ideas and graphics from Age of Wonders (some really interesting arties, like the Lizard on the Stick or the Eye in the Bottle)... *sigh*

Some stuff I've made screwed up my WoG (again), so I've been playing SoD lately... LOL I know, I should've listened to you and made a quick backup, but you know - "it always happens to somebody else".

Needless to say, your work looks awesome. What kind of map are the Chinese working on? It'd be cool if it were something about their history...

P.S. Also still waiting for Godot Ceph to upload the H4 resource files... or maybe he said he wasn't able, don't remember anymore.

Yes, sorry about that - I haven't yet been able to get hold of another computer above Win95.  Should have results on Thursday.

If your WoG is screwed try to remove the guilty def. You can remove it with a simple command in "Action.txt" when you create a .wog file (if I understand well whats going):

DELL "File" W + "Folder"
Removes the file (s) in the folder. Under "file" you can specify any mask.
CODE
DELL "*.*" W + "erm_help \ images \"

Example:

[REGEDIT]

[INSTALL]


DELL "yourdefname.def" W+"H3sprite.lod"

The code in ZEOBJTS has to be deleted as well, using a text editor.

GrayFace did a complete tutorial on this but all in russian...
