~ Official card TRADING thread ~
This forum isn't very active (or... youcan use the phrase - "Isn't at all"), but still some new threads shows up from time to time. And it needs ordering, yes, even with this low population of posts and members.
 What belong to this thread?
Simple, it's only for members who wish to trade/exchange HoMM cards. All older and future topics related to this practice are going to be locked and refered to this one.

Closing old card trading threads is OK in my opinion, but please be careful in deleting old threads regarding the CCTGs - this forum is - worldwide - the only one which has important notes to some rules of the CCTGs which are not well described in the manual.
You may delte this message after reading...  boom

Starter boxes
Hello Everyone,
I have 3 unopened starter boxes i will be putting up for auction on ebay if anyone is interested. Included in each starter box i will also include 3 extra unopened booster packs and an array of artifact and extras cards. Please email me and let me know if you are interested. Thanks

Heroes V starter box?
I've found both IV and V booster packs and/or boxes on ebay. In fact I recently purchased 3 booster boxes for Heroes V CCG. Unfortunately I don't yet have the starter box....so the cards are useless without the tiles, counters and perhaps most importantly, the *rules*. lol Anyone have Heroes V starter box they are willing to get rid of or know anywhere I can get one. DGA games is sold out and has clearly abandoned these games. The boardgamegeek website shows absolutely no interest in V at all, even in the forums. 
Any advice/help would be appreciated. I loved the PC game and would like to play the card game version.

Hi,
bad news for you. I don't know any person who has a Heroes V starter (maybe Psychobabble has one). I think it will be very difficult for you to get one. So try to enjoy that you have 3 boosters of a very rare species of cards with no use for but for collecting purposes.
As far as I know is DGA not sold out but had the license for a heroes card game only for a limited timeline - and this time is over. But I'm not very shure about that.

Thanks Loco. Unfortunately I'm not much of a collector. I just want to play the game. I can probably make my own tiles and counters but what I really need are the *rules*. www.heroesofmightandmagic.com has the complete rules for HOMM IV CCG online but nothing for V In fact, they don't even list HOMM V CCG in their list of HOMM games(?)
Maybe some kind soul who reads this can scan/email the rulebook for me, if they aren't willing to part with it? Or maybe put it up on www.heroesofmightandmagic.com If the HOMM IV rules are posted, I can't see why anyone would be upset with the HOMM V rules being posted as well for those of us with cards and no starter set (I can't be the only one, can I? lol. probably).
There are a handful of users on boardgamegeek.com that claim to own the game so I guess I'll see if any of them want to part with it or scan the rulebook for me. Thanks again.

Loco, I found a couple of people on boardgamegeek.com that own the game and are going to scan the rulebook and tiles for me. I'm still going to try to get an original version starter set but so far no one is willing to sell theirs and I can't find one on ebay or anywhere else.
I can't wait to find out what all the markings on my cards actually mean...lol

Loco, I got a copy of Heroes V card/tile game on boardgamegeek.com There is another user looking to offload his copy of the game. Apparently the starter decks he got were not complete and it was unplayable as is. I've offered to send him the cards he needs to play the game but haven't heard back for a while so he's either not interested or hasn't checked his email. He might still be willing to sell it. If you're interested I can tell you who it is.

thanx for your information but I'm not interested in a game version that is not playable. I'm not shure if I would buy a playable version if somebody would offer me one because I spended lots of money to the HIV CCTG without playing it.
Writing this I'm pretty shure I would buy a playable version - but I'm not searching one if you know what I mean. 
I would appreciate if you could scan the rulebook of HV CCTG and get it online in any way or send it via email to me
