BALKAN ladder (new heroes3 tourney)
Heya all!
Balkanski heroji (meaning Heroes of Balkan penninsula in many Slavic languages) are inviting you to join new heroes3 ladder. It features supreme ladder engine, cool h3 creatures avatars, rating/ranking system, 'waiting for a game' option, automatic e-mail challenges, reporting/contesting/withdrawal/commenting of games, automatic saves upload and much more...
At first, the idea was to create local tourney for countries in Balkan penninsula region (Serbia, Croatia, Romania, Bulgaria, Bosnia, Macedonia, Greece etc.) but we realized we have too few players. Also that would be perhaps too nazi as well
For the near future we plan to introduce also bracket system for season cups, so don't hesitate to join us! Besides players we are also looking for php coders and people who would help with site moderation...

Hi Rainalcar,
thank you for kind words of support
Yeah i'm from Serbia. Originally from Zadar, Croatia, but living in Belgrade for almost 20 years now. So you could say i'm from Balkans
I hope this topic will attract more people from Balkans, but also from other regions. It is nice to speak to countrymen in native tongue, but this way i am afraid we will push potential members away. Therefore i kindly ask all replies to this topic to be posted in English. I'm not great fan of 'speak English or die' neo-colonialist way, but that's how things work at the present. Balkanski Heroji forum is on its way, and we plan to have local languages sections there
Hope to see you all in members list!

Looks great, though I don't have too much time for playing lately (and I was never too good against professionals anyway ^^)
I see you've got players all the way from Korea Cool. Especially considering how few Heroes 3 communities there are left.
You've got my support, and I'd be glad to help about moderation or other kinds of jobs, though my programming abilities are as of yet a bit limited.
Making some kind of a forum for players would probably be a good idea (or we can ask Val, the admin of this place, to make you a subforum here)

Hi Baklava,
thanx for reply. As i promised, the board is online at:
http://balkanskiheroji.netne.net/forum
It is also accessible from menu bar in the main section of the site.
I hope heroescommunity admins will not complain about promotion of another forum here. I am sure no one, no matter how hard he/she tried, can eclipse the greatness of this forum. I would be honoured if Balkanski Heroji ladder got its section here
As stated in news page on Balkanski Heroji, "(the board) ...is divided into general section where official language is English, and localized section where ladder members can communicate in their native languages. We have set up localized boards for three major language groups in Balkans area - Serbian/Croatian/Bosnian, Romanian and Bulgarian. We are currently looking for moderators of these boards so if you have some spare time please contact board admin to grant you moderator permissions. We also look forward to get requests for setting up boards in any language you would like to communicate with your fellow ladder members, so do not hesitate to ask board admin to open a board in your native language!"
So please do...

Well well well! Too bad LRH isn't running these days, what a great site it was, what cool graphics! And all is now just "dust in the wind"...

Well depends on how you look at it... The site is online but people are not reporting their games for some reason. Also forum is spammed. Guess i need to spend some time cleaning it and also do some promotion
Of course everyone is encouraged to report their games on Balkan ladder.
