Ultima IV Quest of the Avatar
How many of you have played the game?
It's a great old game I used to play it with my Win 95 Laptop .
But unfortunately the computer broke couple weeks ago so i can't play it anymore.
I really like the game because of it has some hard quests to solve and good battles .
But one thing bothers me. When I have all the people that are possible to join me. The eight ones:
-Mariah
-Iolo
-Geoffrey
-Jaana
-Julia
-Dupre
-Shamino
-Katrina
(but you're able to have only 7 of them because You are one of the heroes, I am a Druid, so I can't get Jaana on my side) I still can't get pass the pirates to the Abyss island and the Codex, they allways kill me..
Pictures of the game:
But anyway, it's a veeery good old game

Phenomenal RPG, it even rivalled World of Xeen... I wish I could still get it to play on this newfangled contraption.

I played the NES version of Ultima 3 and 4. They made them kind of Dragon Warrior-like =D
Currently my Hubby and I only own Exodus for the NES, Underworld 1 and a couple copies of Pagan. Though it's a shame Ultima will probably never see the light of day again, EA owns the series but Richard Garriot owns the characters, world and story.
In an unrelated DOS classic, it's also a shame that Master of Magic also never got any sequels and the Master of Orion Series got that terrible third game that wasn't remotely produced by Steve or anybody that worked on the earlier games. Too bad Steve Barcia only went on to make Metroid Prime and then settled in at EA to do nothing exceptional.

It's a shame you don't own a copy of Ultima 7; easily the greatest CRPG ever made, IMO. Good luck trying to get it to run, though.

yah, U4 was a great game combining truth/love/courage into 8 different class combinations chosen from questions at beginning -> unique & focused on ethics too
I had druid class in 1st game.
U3: who can forget endless hordes of daemons, attack-north & mittar with sound effects
U7 was good, - "Kill Wrathy" was funny next to crashed spacecraft near cat-like alien (I didn't understand it at first until someone else told me)
After that, it went weird...
