The following may not be only for Denmark, but it'll give an idea of some of the absurdities that happens here once in a while (there's a lot more good stuff though, and much of it also in those I mention, but I left out on purpose).
Only in Denmark will the head of the military defense go, from claiming a media to be a threat to national security, to resign, in a logical and cronological order.
Only in Denmark they would consider making "happy hour" in bars illegal.
Only in Denmark they'll ban drawings of child porn.
Only in Denmark they'll make buying sex illegal. (Remember DK is the capital of Sweden).
Only in Denmark they'll try to WIN an election by claiming "Security or Freedom, you can't have both", while confusing freedom with convenience.
Only in Denmark the government will not only financial help a TV-station, no they'll also require people to pay it through a whole other system, and finally they'll require you to pay if you've the possibility to see it, not if you actually do.
How can it be my responsibility that they're acting out on the internet?
Only in Denmark will tabloids focus on everything else, than what truely is relevant for the common citizen, with no respect for the people involved whatsoever.
Only in Denmark they consider to ban bullet proof armor, with arguments such as "it's a weapon" and "then the crime war will stop, because then the gangsters won't be shooting".
Newsflash: Weapons are already illegal, these people still don't care, why should they care for what the armor is considered?
Meanwhile the common people who actually try to protect themselves, will be targeted and get into problems.
Oh and finally, the purpose of the state have always been its citizens, every single one of them, it's not okay to increase the hazard of anyones life in a desperate attempt to put an end to the war.
Finally, bullet proof armor sadly only defends a part of the body, and many guns ignore these armors, unless they're extremely heavy and thereby unpractical, it really shines out how ignorant this seem.
Only on the planet Earth have they not figured out how to make effecient system of control, in stead of they elect a few people, who get the power to increase their own salery and otherwise does nothing for a given period, until reelection, when they become popular again through irrelevant media attempts and can continue living sweet of other peoples money, while the worker thinks everything is set and done and only thinks of supporting himself and his family.
Only on the planet Earth there exists a species, thinking of them to be so unique, that they actually have influence on the global clima of the planet, and believe they're so many that they're overpopulating the planet, though they're one of the species with fewest speciments.
Only on the planet Earth, someone would actually name a country Romania.
Only in the Milkiway Galaxy have they yet to find out the true formula for gravity, and in general a method of finding global formulas independent of local activites. They also thinks light is only a particle and a wave.
