Do the other mountains work without problems?
Ans yes, the mountains should be a little darker.
They are straight from heroes 4, and the ground is lighter in the game.

No, you must have clean wog to install the patch on the first page. If you did what Salamandre said, you can just delete the version you currently have, and paste the clean version to another folder and install the patch there.

Not the mountains as a whole, just the base. If you could send me a bitmap of one i could try. I'd use gimp, put the mountain on a blank page, put some grass on another part of that page (separated from the mountain) then select by color, and overpaint the green part with grass. Then delete the separate grass, cut out the mountain and save it.

Or maybe you could do that?

I sent it back, edited. Only the green areas repainted (cloned from the grass patch). Not cut.

BTW: I've completed the test map and uploaded it: http://www.rorkvell.de/tmp/Test00.h3m

Nothing special, just a small map to test playability with some of the new objects.

I will make probably an idiot from myself, but I'm just curious, is it possible for somebody to play map with these objects without havin' the package (patch) installed ?

Or is it possible to play over internet (hamachi) and the other side will be person who joins not who host the serv. is it possible for him to join without this patch ?

Nice work by the way, finaly some valuable things happens around these forums.

Maybe it's possible. In Gnollkings testmap i found some objects i did not find in my editor. So it seems here some patch is missing, but nevertheless the objects are there.

That concludes that these objects are stored in the map.

The objects i did not find where the 2 tents and the walls and garrison. But that's o.k., these objects do not fit very good to H3, they are too big. If someone could make them smaller they might fit well.

BTW, many of the new objects, i think, from the roman and/or chinese patch do net fit either. Esecially the walls do not line up. I think they should be adjusted. Either pure horizontally and vertically, or if the angle is needed, then it will be quite some work to make them line up.

@Gnollking: If you want to, you may send me similar pics of the other mountains. I think i could do 1 per day.

The red walls can't be adjusted, chinese players tried to do it too but failed. Other that, any object can fit if you are imaginative. They do not fit in what? SOD maps? They are not mean for.

I will send every one of them to you later.

Btw, the Age of Empires objects, the walls and the garrisons are found in the Lava Objects.
They came with Salamandre's Chinese and Roman objects, look here.

Anything can be adjusted. Just for that walls it's not that easy. It is not possible to aligne them with that angle and still use a 1 quad only.

If they are to be aligned in that angle you would need a grid, 2 quads horizontally and then 1 vertically. Then you have to manually put together about 2 1/2 of these walls and distribute them ofer that grid.

I'd like to try. Do you have a separate pic plus such a grid? Could be a 2x2 grid, if you want.

Sure. Give me a day, so I can retrieve those walls in my HD. (millions of pics to check).

To adjust them just use the reposition thing in deftool while checking in editor how many pixels are needed to move. However my guess is that 2 defs will be needed to make those walls working (for each section), is it worth? I could also remove them from the patch, because they not work as intended but still some people like them as they are. Hard choice. If you get them work, would be great.
