The first wave of attackers was armed with close quarter weapons, however, Blaze's flamethrower torched them for good, and the corridor now reeked of burning flesh and hair.
- That's their heavy resistance?- Laughed Swede.
- It's just the first wave! It now get's worse frome here on in!
- You're right mortal.- Alex remembered that softspoken voice.
- Chaelia... It looks like you survived. Well to bad for you.- Alex grabbed his hammer which he named 'The Immortal King'. The skull's eyes started glowing with silvery light, and static electricity was crackling around the weapons head. The demoness on the other hand didn't looked so well. Her right horn was missing, and huge scars left from the projectiles of the psycannon were present on her chest. Various other scars left from Alex's first attack on her were clearly visible. Her eyes instead of empty and free, were ragefull and enslaved. Various marks were burned on her body to ensure her obiedience. She wasn't like a young rebelous calf anymore. Now she was a puppet without a will, forced to obey her masters every command.
She drawned out her sword. It was malformed and glowing, and Alex believed that it had a demon sealed inside it. Without delay, she charged at Alex.

"This is airliner King's Pride arriving now at Elizabeth-City. Thank you for flying Ghost Airlines. Have a pleasant day." said Avon as he landed the King's Pride at the Elizabeth-City spaceport.
"Excellent, good landing, Avon." replied Troy as he armed himself with his usual assortment of weapons which was his dual pistols, army dagger, 2 grenades, and his collapsible sniper rifle. Narxas slung his laser rifle on his back and strapped his rapier to his belt.
"All ready to go?" said Narxas.
"Sure are." replied Troy as they left the King's Pride.
5 minutes later, they caught up with Baal and Terra at their location.
"Baal!" yelled out Troy.
He turned his head as Troy noticed that he was trying to comfort Terra who looked like she was in a terrible state.
"Woah! What happened here?!" said Troy as they rushed to her help.
"I'm not so sure...she said that she felt Teira get hurt or something..." replied Baal, looking very worried.
"Oh, right, yeah, she died." said Narxas offhandedly. When he saw that everybody gave him dirty looks he replied, "What? It's true..."
Terra started crying even more and her condition grew worse.
"Uh oh, I think she's into depressive shock..." said Avon.
"Depressive shock?" replied Troy incredulously.
"Look, I know that's not the actual name, but I think I know how to treat this."
"Then stop talking and do it, for heaven's sake!"
"Righto...let's see what we can do..." said Avon as he got his med kit out.

Ben, now in his 'wild' form goes looking through the base to find the source of the disturbence. He comes accross the recruits..and orders them to secure the armory, just in case. They nod and go to do as ordered. Soon, he smelled smoke, and he wearily followed it.
It led to the med lab. Hanging from chains were two very nude females, well one had a helmet on. Both had collars around their neck, suppressors, neither looked too happy. Both were gagged with ducktape, and both were trying to say something. Ben could tell what it was...that this was a trap.
Mutant hunters. Armed with everything needed to take down mutants. Supressors, Neuro Inhibitors, the whole nine yards. All well trained, with the best gear money could buy. He could take one..maybe two..but from the shadows came twelve. They would take his one chance to take out all twelve, his powers..he didn't stand a chance.

Hyu walks over to you and hands you a paper. It lists every non-organic possible 'threat' aboard the vessal. If it was so much as a butter knife, he had it listed .. where it was, and who had it. Must come with his power to destroy anything inorganic. Weird thing is..he has listed a bucket of Ice Cubes. Ice is organic..shouldn't be on this list.....

Kaiser stares at the sheet of paper, and can't make anything out of it. He hands the sheet to the one they are here to protect.
"I can't read the thing. What does it say?"
After a few items are read, he interrupts.
"Oh. Must be related to his power. He can destroy things the are inor...in-or-gan-ic. Yeah, that was it. But he is useless against other things."

Alex clashed with the demoness, repelling her attack and tossing her across the hallway. The demonic sword fell out of her hands. As soon as she stood up, Alex charged forward screaming his throat out, and slammed his hammer into her chest. She did managed to scratch Alex face with her claws. Enraged, he continued mauling her. The Immortal King risen and fell, breaking the fiend's host's bones and crushing her essence with negative psionic energy. Alex charged up the hammer and delivered the one final blow. He crushed her head. An infernal scream echoed through the hallway, and the demoness's body burned down to a pile of ashes.
- Swede, lead on! I'll catch up with you!

The twelve hunters were well prepared for this. Target wouldn't stand a chance. It was time for action. At the starboard side of the room a silvery flash is seen. Then another. Two heads of the hunters roll along the floor. A blink later two hunters fall to the floor at the other side of the room. Yet another two figures emerge from the shadows at the opposite sides of the room. A man in a black combat gear with a combat knife in hand and a woman on the starboard side with a katana that shimmers with a slight blue glow. Not wasting any time Ben charges the closest hunter decapitating him. Just as he does he feels a disturbance flow over him and he returns to his old self. As he does he quickly turns an operating table over and covers behind it. Damn, they got and area suppressor too. Looking to his left and right he sees two more operating tables turned over and the two mysterious persons covered in a like wise fashion as machine gun fire sweeps over the room. The woman to his right throws a grenade over the table and the man on his left fires at the grenade with a laser pistol making it explode in a cloud of smoke that soon fills the room and his lungs.
"COUGH, COUGH!", a smoke grenade, not too shabby. Using the cover of smoke Ben grabs the body of the man he had decapitated and throws it towards the hunters he knows are at the other side of the room. He ducks back behind the table as soon as he can and not a moment too soon as a streak of laser charrs a few of his hairs. Sounds of gun fire fill the room again, most targeting the flying figure. He hears four thuds and a clang signaling him he hit something at least. The smoke filling the room is obscuring his vision but he can see enough to know that the two strangers aren't there where they were a few moments ago. He picks up four scalpels that have fallen on the floor to his left and throws them at other side of the room at the spot he remembers two of the hunters were. He hears three clicks,
"%#&¤$!" and a clang. A smile creeps onto his face, by the sound of that it's one hunter less to worry about. Machine gun fire sweeps the room again, sounds that only three of the hunters are left. A few sickening thuds of bullets penetrating flesh signal him that some or both of the strangers are hit. Another sweep of gunfire concentrates at the table he's covering behind. The hunters mask computers must have sorted through the smoke screen. Damn, they really do have the top of the line equipment. He sees a white pulse and hears frantic gunfire followed by five thuds.

An hour later in the nearest hospital, Avon, Troy, Narxas, and Baal were standing around Terra who was sleeping in a bed. The doctor who was nearby walked up to Baal and said, "She is suffering from extreme depression, had it not been for your friend's swift actions, she may have died."
"What about the black stuff?" replied Baal worryingly.
"We are not too sure what it is, but we took a small piece of it and are studying it. Unfortunately, we do not have the proper funding to truly look into it."
"No matter," said Narxas as he spoke into his wrist mounted com link. "IDPCO, this is Agent 3DC, requesting medical and research team at our location ASAP."
"Roger that, Agent 3DC. We are on our way." crackled the voice from the other side.
"There we go, just wait for a couple minutes and we should be fine." said Narxas as he turned off his com link.
The doctor and Baal merely stared at him.

He sees the ship and sets his sights on it.He open fires Epms on them.Kncking out the ships power and once he has done that.He teleports containers of sleeping gas on board their ship.
Once that was done and actived the gas.Filling the whole ship with sleeping gas.He then locks on their life signs then teleports them to his ships holding cells.
He says: "Lastrius and Leina go make our new passagers less comfortable.Make sure you use the wrist cuffs and collars on them as well as surpressors too."
Without saying another word the go do as he commands.

Angel's ship landed in the hangar.
- That's weird. The place usually crawls with people.- Said Cherubael.
- Maybe it's a surprise party for me?
- I won't bet on it.- Cherubael morphed into his true form.- Be ready. Something's very suspicious here. Be ready.
Angel refilled her 'Zippo' lighter. It retained it's simple and reliable design over the centuries.
She heard some heavy footsteps. As soon as some strange men entered, she projected several giant fireballs at them. Cherubael too opened fire. A black collar rolled near Angel's feet. The same black collar that was putted on her when she was arrested. She spat on it and kicked it.
- That's not how a lady should behave.
- Zip it. Let's go find Ben.

As soon as Angel stepped out of the ship, Cherubael vanished and her powers were gone. The field expands to cover the entire ship, so going back in the ship would do no good.
Meanwhile Ben looks around, making sure all the attackers are down or dead. He goes over and frees Dispair and Gaia. "We have to find you some clothes. Also, we have to get some bandages for this other person...I am sorry what is your two's names? Thanks for the assists, also."

"Why would he list a bucket of ice then? Ice is organic." she seems puzzled. She looks at her drink..and suddenly it hits her. "The drinks! Somebody has poisoned the drinks!"

She gives you the information. However, now that the threat is found, it is no danger. The ice actually has nanites in it. That is when Kaiser notices that he and the Queen have pretty much moved in a secluded area. An armed Venetian comes around the corner..he can smell trouble. Venetians are dangerous foes, Hyu can take care of the weapon, but is useless against a living person.

Alex was statisfied with the performance of the Immortal King. He cought up with his team quite quickly, and joined them at another skirmish. Udirah was clashing with one expert swordsman. Unable to counterattack with the blades, he spat a strange greenish substance on his oponent's face. He then dropped on the floor and grabbed his face screaming. The screams stopped a few moments later.
- What was that?- Asked Alex.
- Form of defence, by nature gifted to us. Like acid it burns and almost instantly kills.
- Nice. Well, no time to waste, let's move!

The man goes to check the bodies. When he is closing on one with a scalpel sticking out of it's shoulder it twitches. Seems like it's still alive. He walks over to it. Puts his hands on both sides of it's helmet. Lifts. And twists.
CRACK!, he drops the now lifeless body back to the floor and checks the rest of them. After that he goes to see to the woman. She has been hit thrice, once in her side and two times in her left arm. He takes a pair of pliers and two clamps and hears Ben speak:
"We have to find you some clothes. Also, we have to get some bandages for this other person...I am sorry what is your two's names? Thanks for the assists, also."
"You can call me Varjo.", the man says in a cold voice. Using the clamps to keep the wound on the woman's side open he takes the pliers and pulls the bullet still embedded in her flesh out. Without turning away from the woman he continues:
"Would you mind throwing two wound kits from that cabinet on your right side?", he takes the clamps off and catches the kits Ben throws him. He chooses an organic glue patch and attaches it to her side. He then wraps another around her left arm and grabs her right hand. Helping her up they turn to Ben. The woman introduces herself in a satin voice.
"You can call me Darkblade."

"We might. What's the deal?", Varjo inquires.
"Kill the intruders, help us track down who sent them, kill them, and everybody who is associated with this attack. You will be well rewarded..and if you want I have a more permanent job"
"Agreed.", Darkblade says.
"One last thing..if any of my people get hurt..I want the person behind it to die slow."
This makes Varjo ponder a while.
"Then we'll leave that person to you. Otherwise we can't guarantee that."
He nods.
"Agreed. We have a deal."
"We should head to power cores. They are likely trying to blow this rock now that their attempt at you has failed", Varjo notes and goes to pick up his laser pistol. It's still a little hot after overheating in the fight.
"The breakers are there also. We get Martica up and running, this fight is over.", Ben says.
Varjo nods and leads the way. They get down to the cores without encounters. A pair of hunters are setting up explosives at the cores. They are knocked out and disarmed without them even noticing. Ben goes to the breakers flips them forth and back.
"There that should do it.", a strong humming sound is heard and flickering the base comes online.

Martica comes back online. Ben orders "Eject the intruders into space, except one." he lets her know that Varjo and Darkblade are NOT intruders. "I want to question that one..so seclude and neutralize."
"Yes Ben." Seconds later the intruders are all dead in space..except one.

Baal asked doctor to leave them with Terra before scientists from special medical and researching team come. Right after he heard as door closed he silently came closer to Terra's bed. She were sleeping. Baal forgot every rutine deals near her, he only thought about Terra, stroking her long hair.
Some time passed. Suddenly Terra opened her eyes. It was obvious that the rest improved her mental state, she was calm and felt quite better.
"How are you?" - Baal asked.
"Bad, I feel like somebody took away part of me."
"I condole with you on losing your sister." - he replied. Terra had herself well in hand and after some pause she asked:
"Baal, but why are you here? You must be at the dock watching narcotic deals."
"Dear, I can't leave you here alone."
"Stop it. I saw Troy and Avon, I will be okay. Go!"
Baal hesitated. Suddenly somebody knocked the door. Baal saw as few humans coming into the room. One of them who came first said:
"I am head of the IDPCO researching team. We have to make some analysis. Ingvar Baalokki, please leave the room."
"See? Go to dock."
Finally Baal decided, he stood up, kissed Terra into forehead and said:
"Okay, good bye. I entrust you, guys, with her safety. Good luck."
Then he went out of the room. On the way he warned Troy about his plans and said that he will return as soon as possible.

- What the..?- Angel tried to create a simple fireball. It was unsuccesfull. Moments later the station came back to life, and she felt that her powers are back.
- Martica, where's Ben?
- Subject named Ben is in the medical sector.- the AI's voice was very soft and soothing. Angel could sworn that it talked for the first time when she was around. She shrugged, and with Cherubael as her shadow, went to the medical sector. When she entered the room, she saw the very disturbing, for her sight.
- Ok... I don't what to know what are you doing here. The cult leader managed to escape the ambush. The rest- eliminated.- she then closed the door and went to her quarters to rest.
Meanwhile, Alex's team completely crushed Skyblade's forces. But casualties weren't evaded however. Six of his men were killed or heavily injured.
- They may be armed with state of the art weaponry, but their skills... Worse than armie's freshmen.- Laughed Swede.
- No time to chit chat. Let's finish this!- Alex breached the door leading to the bridge. He grabbed Skyblade telepathically, only to be greatly dissapointed. His face started shifting, untill it turned to that of a woman.
- You're too late! My master fled to the badlands! You'll never stop him now!
Alex tore her apart.
- Take the ship back to the base. It'll make a great trophy. Let's go home.
