The Problem of School and time!
You see, I've got this time problem. As I've got too much to do and too litle time to get it done, I think time management is importand.
I am studying to a teacher at the University. As a University student it requires very much work, and I've got 4,5 yrs left... Atm, I have mathematics, Filosophy and Pedagogy. Filosophy and Pedagogy is not my priories, my math takes most of my time. But I have so many other things I want to fill my spare time with.
-As i live in a very rainy place we're happy when the sun arrives. then I want to go for walks or mountain walks.
-I want to visit my grandparents
-I want to read books and the newspaper
-I want to play Pc games once a while (Which gives no real value, but still, who cares, can't just go nerdy.. lol)
-I live alone, so I have to cook, to laundry etc. (don't misunderstand, I have no problem with these things, its just that I have to do it)
My problem with the university is that I was too lazy in the start, now I'm 2,5 chapters behind... It's a quite depressing situation. But usually I spend like 6 hrs at home with maths, but the problem then is that I am too in-effective! It is quite a depressing situation. I am starting to wonder whether the University is my thing...
So what shall I do? Go for mountain walks with grandfather? Get a job and give up Uni.? HC? WoW? Friends all the way? Math all day?
There are so many other important values than sitting home alone, what ever I do, esp. beeing with other humans.

But no English?
The truth is that worthy studies consume most of time unless you're a genius and get everything straight away. Ones who don't get over it perish easily.
Also, I'm not sure if learning maths for six hours alone is the most effective way if you don't like it. You can practice solving tasks, but understanding it without a good tutor is unlikely.

Nope, no English! This is in Norway!!
Seems like I'll perish...
The math problem is I'm 2,5 chapters behind the tutor... There are a few ways to get help, but what good is that when I'm 2 chapters behind? Besides, the math i'm learning is not a very difficult one, just a bit more advanced form of what I already know. Still it's a little difficult..
Also I don't know if math is a subject I want to continue with. I did want to become math teacher, but perhaps I'll become a chemistry and biology teacher instead ?
another problem seems I can't deal with challenges... (at least not boring ones)

So why the hell are you studying something that does not go with your specialization?

umm.
When I was studying biology and it sucked, I left.
Found myself a better place (Warsaw Tech) which is ok. I'm finishing third year right now.
So I advise you to look for something else to study. Perhaps you will understand it better and thus won't need so much time.

What the heck are you doing in Bergen?! Move to Trondheim, we got sun and people from nordnorge [/biased joke]
Well, ask for help in math. I have used the last month over here to understand something in math(College, i guess you could call it. first year. 1STA 1T), the teacher has yet to properly explained it and the book is so poorly written its a joke since it can't be used as a support when not paying attention in class.
I do not know your limits, your advantages, your disadvantages, and your social circle. Anything I would say would be wrong in a way. I think asking for a little help to catch up could be done, I dunno.

I'm becoming a teacher there.. 1. year in College!
Well I've just found out one thing.. I'm starting a new, and better life, and sitting on the University and studying. Sitting at home is no use..

I understood that, cause I'm from Norway too and he probably understood you're from Bergen cause it's so rainy there better here in Fredrikstad, almost no rain at all
Gonna be a teacher myself, but I could only advice you to drink heaps of coffee to be awake and try working faaaast and effective, instead of slow and .. in-effective. I've found it helps working as hard as absolutely possible when you're at school. But sure, school sucks .. simply try to finish and you'll be soo happy you're done with it. 4.5 years left, then you can laugh your ass off your student having to go through the same as you're now
Three posters from small Norway in the same topic ... fun xP

Nah, I hate rain .. so Fredrikstad suits me much better than Bergen would ever do.
I am thinking about secondary school (ungdomskolen), english and history.

"When the sun comes we are happy" is a dead giveaway. The city is famous for this, i can't think of any other city where its like that.

Remember the past is not equal the present and is not equal the future, you may find it hard now, but with practice you'll get better. The question is if you're dedicated enough the gain enough practice so you can keep up, or go even faster.
You could also try to train your study skills, but it may be a bit risky, because it takes time, and you'll get even more behind.
Also, as you're studying to be a teacher, you can use your own experiences (the pedagogy part) to notice what needs to be made different, so those far behind still can get help
(In stead of making 4X students in 4 classes of X students and 1 tutor going through the same subject, you could divide it up, so each tutor goes through 1/4th of the of the material, and then you go to the tutor that suits where you're currently. Then the tutors look at how the classes have been divided and divide themselves, so they're on subject (maybe 2 tutors to the first 1/4th part, 1 to the last 1/4th part, and 1 to the second 1/4th part, eventhough according to plan you all should maybe be at the third 1/4th part), this way everyone would much easier get to the right place, and those far in front could quickly get done and then start getting ready for the exam via helping those who're lacking behind.
