So how is this as a tatto for me?
I have been thinking about getting a tattoo for some months, and the last weeks I haven't been able to get this one out of my mind.
It just feels right for me, on the back of one of the shoulders, or on my upper arm or something. But yeah, I'm impulsive about pretty much everything .. but this would be so expensive getting rid of, that I wanna be sure before taking a chance on it  so yeah, I've heard my brothers and parents opinion on it .. and a few friends ( not girlfriend, wanna surprise her  ) .. and they think it looks nice. But then again, I've been a member here longer than I've known most of my friends, so I just wanted to hear some opinions from members in this community too before making an absolute decision.
Opinions?

Two questions you have to ask yourself, before you get a tattoo?
how many beers did you have?
How long did you want one? (two months is the ideal here)
Either way, tattoos can be pretty damn sweet.

Looks cool, I bet a tattoo artist can make it look even better. Upper arm would be best I think.
But yeah, it's up to you. Don't get a tattoo for others' sake

I never do anything for others' sake and tattoo artists should be able to make things cooler that's their job ..

If you want my honest opinion... don't do it.
a)That picture is pretty... well it looks "cool" but it's kinda clicheé?
b) Removing that will be a pain in the a$$
c) Will you like the way that looks FOREVER since well that's how long it stays lol
d) Do you want to pursue any carrer path in which a Tatoo isn't the thing you'd want to have
e) do you want to use public baths, hotel beaches in Japan? Because Tatoos are a big "DAME!" no-go in most of those establishments.
Don't get me wrong for some people a Tatoo can just look ultra stylish. While with others it just looks out of place:S. Not sure about how you'd fit that bill since I don't know you but I really wouldn't do it.

Never ever even thought about going to Japan so that's no problem for me at least ..
I would hope for the tattoo artist to give a "personal feel" to it, but most tattoos are "clicheé" if you think about it. Pretty much whatever you think of, there are people having it already
Personally I think I would fit a lone wolf, and a couple told me that if I should ever get a tattoo .. that's the one I should go for but yeah, I see your point. Probably should print it first and see how it looks or something ..

Get the tattoo and don't care what others think. It's for you. I'm gonna get on, probably on my right arm. Dunno what it's gonna be yet, though. But yeah, looks good EDN, I say just get it.

I always said if I ever got brave enough for a tattoo it would be an 'all out' one. Covering the entire back. My first thought is a black dragon breathing fire on a castle, this scene covering the entire back.
That is so I NEVER actually get a tatoo If you want one, get it, to heck what others think.

I dont really think you should give much credit to what we all have to say about its looks. We all have different perceptions about what is beautiful or what is cliché, or whatever. But this misses the whole point of art, which is, in my definition, that which PLEASES YOU. You have to be sure you like its lines, shape and color. A second main aspect is that a tattoo should be something that makes sense to you. A tattoo should not only be something you consider "cool" but also something that represents some important aspect of your existence.
So after considering it for a while you still think a tribal howling wolf represents you somehow, and the lines please you, than I'd say: heck... DO IT.
I still consider one thing about your idea a bit troublesome. To keep it a secret from your girlfriend. I dont know how much you consider this girl, but I think she should at least have her saying on something that will change your body forever, before its already on place.
But again, thats just me.

Well, about my girlfriend .. she has said before that whatever I choose to do with my body, it's my choice. Besides; she love tattoos, piercings and that kinda stuff. Just like me.
I thought about a double-cross for short time some time back, but decided against it.
Another version of YinYang, eyh cross and up-down cross merged in one.
Anyways, yeah .. I think I'll go for it once I can afford it! And then I'll post a picture mwahahah!

Great choice for a tatto(the wolf I mean). I myself would love to get one, but I'd need to get a pigment spot removal surgery. And that costs extra. Plus I don't think there are skilled tattoo artists in here 
If you like it, go ahead and get it. And remember: those who say anything against it are jealous.

I wouldnt ruin my skin for something so simple. Besides, it seems u want a tattoo and therefore u seek symbols u like, which is not bad at all but imo the tattoo should have a powerful meaning TO YOU (its not that the ying yang has no meaning).
In addition, the wolf is a crap cake.
