Since my next complain of how creatures should look after the vampire is the ogre magi, here is my vision of it.

well, as for me i only like the first part of the name of the creature. why do they have to be 'magi,' btw why couldn't you hire an ogre mage as a hero then? when the ogres weren't mages yet, they were the best ogres imho.

Hmmm.. interesting concept. It does look a little feminine to me, I would close the neckline very close to the neck. I would also make the pants a little more detailed and more randomish. I like the concept though, and it feels much more shamanish than the booger created in Homm4.

I guess the "magi" started with that bloodlist spell and then it got stuck with that.In h3 the ogre magi was much cooler than the simpler ogre but not because of the name (I always have seen it as the "magi" of terror).
It's true that an ogre should be a fierce hand-to hand warrior but I suppose I can get used also to the shamanish appearance.
They should also see the Harry Potter, there's a nice troll. Also for seeing is the centaur.
P.S. Does it really look feminish? I didn't intend that, but I guess that's just my bad-drawing. I wanted it to be fearsome.

Only because of the way I am looking at it it looks very curvy And she looks like she is wearing brown lip gloss, but that is just the position she/he is standing in. Otherwise I think it would look very male (couldn't really tell gender in Homm3, so I think it is fine)

Quite an interesting drawing. I agree with Darion that it looks a little feminine. Oh well nobody's perfect.
Whatever happened to the Ogre Lords of heroes 2? Why'd they drop them? I mean since when does an ogre become a mage?

re:
Since the artist is a female, i think she has decided that there should be equal amount of male and female monsters for Heroes IV. After all it was designed at the start to be played by both sexes. (And that was just for the Heros)
Most games in the past have been geared towards the male gap, but now as we progress the female aspect in increasing all the time.
If you think about it, there were only a few female creatures in the past games like
Heroes III
Nagas,
Medusas,
Harpy Hag
Sprites
Heroes II
Archer
Sprite
Medusa
Heroes I
Druid (I Think)
Sprite
An if you look at what i have put above, you will notice that the number of female monsters increase with every new heroes game.
Where was I oh yes.
The design for the Orge magi is very good whether it is male or female.
Having said that i wonder if a female vampire would have looked nice in heroes IV instead of the male vampire.
All slim and sexy in a white flowing see-through gown with black flowing hair as she walks very seductively to her victims charming them with her wiles before draining some blood out of them.

Since the designer is a woman and since the number of the female monsters is in progress, how come we don't have in the game the most representative character for women-warriors: the amazon?

the 'ogre magi' thing dates back to warcraft 2, doesn't it? maybe earlier? comparing the "ogre magi" in wc2 and the ones in homm3 and homm4.. hmm..
