((You’re Underhill B-E-T-A, EVERYTHING looks strange and out of place here.  ))
Among the debris that fell out of the tree when it flipped, Mark finds a purse containing 32 gold pieces, a pair of empty bottles and a few corked potions that failed to smash ((1 orange, 1 purple, and 1 layered)).
Rikku examines the ceiling carefully but sees nothing of note.
The entire group then hears footsteps coming from the entrance Mark, Rikku and Jack came in.

The three travel down the center passage. The chamber it opens into has a pinkish tinge to the ground and contains the same gnarled tree they saw in the gazebo. Mark, Rikku, Jack, and Rikudo are gathered around its base, and it appears there has been some sort of storm or similar event as the ground around it is littered with smashed cages and broken bottles.

((Have you ever played Fire Emblem, KI? Literary ANYTHING exists underground in some of the games. Can't remember which game it was, but in one game I actually found a bunch of trees in a level which was set in 'underground ruins'))
"And here comes the rest of them." Mark shouted and smiled "Hail and well met people! Have you met the kid or the feathered monster yet?" Mark shouted to them before taking a look at the loot he had found "Anyone here who got knownledge in alchemy or healing? Cause I would like to know what kind of liquid these bottles contain." Mark asked his companions before yelling once again to the three newcomers "Ohh, and watch out for hourglasses, they tip the room upside down!"

At the least it was not hostiles incoming, which was good. I wavered at them a bit and they wavered back. I explained to them that Brock and Glenn was most likely dead. As they listened i had the strangelst feeling: The had taken some weird step closer to enlightenment.

"Potions? Alchemy? I knew a bit about the stuff in my original body, and apparently this one knows a bit about the stuff. Whether or not it will reveal the knowledge is another question all together."
Rikku walks over to him, and takes a look at the potions.

Doom reluctantly greets the others.
"So our numbers reduced by two. An unfortunate turn of events, I suppose. We did not find the child, but we have seen a series of clues. The first of them was that huge tree. The second - a vine with a medallion attached to it. Have you come across anything like this?"

Rikku examines the potions. An impression that is one part instinct and one part intimate familiarity tells her that the orange potion cures sickness, and the purple is an antidote for most poisons. Her gut reaction is a bit fuzzy on the layered potion, but examining it thoroughly gives her the idea of gills and deep, murky water.

"A vine with a medallion? Yeah, up in that tree. We pulled it, and there was some noise. Which one? The...no, not that one. I think it was the stone scraping sound."

"Stone scraping? Hmmm... According to what we've seen that vine is the key to finding the child. She is held in some kind of chamber. I would assume that the stone scraping you heard was an opening of that chamber. Now, logic dictates that if our room showed the way and this room holds the key then the last room is where our final destination lies." Doom turned to the small creature with the strange eyes, "You are the only one left alive from that room. Did you leave it before or after they pulled the medallion vine?"

I then looked up at the light emiting creatures flying around, they where weird.

Mark handed Tidius the bottle "No, I won't mind. Keep it, it is not like I have any use for it anyway if I don't know what it does." then as the rest of the party gave signs to leave Mark silently followed, axe prepared.

The group leaves the chamber with the tree and take the exit Rikku, Mark and Jack used to return to the three-tined passage. The fog closes about them once more and a few of the light creatures trail along afterwards, but they make it to the room where Brock and Glenn vanished without trouble.
It appears as Rikudo left it: a courtyard full of stones that sing when struck or trod upon, ringed by a hedge with the stone arches in the center—two collapsed into rubble, one still standing with its interior energized. Another exit ((the one leading to the mushroom room)) lies across the chamber from the group.

That way was longer from a distance perspective, and as Rikudo didn’t say anything along the lines of ‘and by the way guys, I saw another passage when I came through that tunnel *points*’ nor did anyone express a desire to go the other way, there was no IC reason for you all to go that way. If you want to back track and go the other way, go ahead.))
