Computer tip + question
I dont know how many of you are like me when it comes to an older computer. I look back at installed programs, and task manager and wonder what the heck I can delete and what I have to keep sometimes.
Well, I've done a factory reset and took screen shots of programs/software, task manager, but also this task scheduler
A lot of this stuff starts automatically for any user log in, this is most important for me to get rid of what I can now. I do not want useless processes going on a schedule, especially upon each log in!!!
This pic is of the scheduled task folders
question: Can anyone here vouch that any of these tasks are completely useless? I would like to get rid of all unnecessary craps and have a screen shot so in the future I can know what I should look into deleting.
The defrag is scheduled once per week, so I am going to have to edit some things as well as delete the useless
Bonus question:
Would you recommend I take screenshots or some log of something else besides:
Installed programs..
Task scheduler..
Task Manager
?

I don't use scheduled tasks at all. I have the whole thing disabled. So that folder is completely empty for me.
However, if you disable it you will want to do some of those things manually, like defrag.

If you mess with it, make sure you make a backup copy first. Just make a copy of it and put it somewhere else.
