PS vs N vs XB
Simple question:
Which console is best?
Pre-slice:
Super Nintendo vs Sega Dreamcast
The first slice:
Nintendo 64 vs Playstation
The second:
Nintendo Gamecube vs Playstation 2 vs Xbox
Third and last:
Nintendo Wii vs Playstation 3 vs Xbox 360
And why your choice?

Computer.
All these consoles could be stashed together and it still would not compete with the awesomeness of a Computer.

...slice?
NES>Master System.
SNES>Genesis.
PS1>N64>Saturn.
PS2>Xbox>Gamecube.
The current generation absolutely sucks.

I kinda knew someone would say that, i must agree, but the question was a fight between the consoles, and not theire master!!!
Myself:
Pre-slice = Super Nintendo because there where more games made for the nintendos, and because i grew up with it.
First-Slice = Playstation because it was arround 20$ for a chip, and it was insanely cheap to driv to Germany to buy CD's and DVD's. CHEAP GAMES (ALLMOST FREE)
Second-Slice = Playstation 2 (Same reasons as Playstation 1, plus the controllers is more awesome and the Tekken games plus GTA games... The chip did cost 140$ though..
Third-and-last = I have seen people rip on each other because of disagreements in this choice!!! especially between PS3 and 360... But my choice would be the PS3 or the Wii.. PS3 ;p
Because i did choose the PS1 and PS2, and i got used to the controllers and the games.. So ofcourse i'll choose PS3, and the amazing blueray is fantastic ;p (Allmost every game is Blueray, with Dolby D, and DTS)
42" flat screen from philips, and a Sorround sound system from Bang & Olufsen works like magic with PS3

Lol blueray is a piece of crap. I just prefer normal DVD's because, imo, they're actually better and I don't want to spend more for something that doesn't really improve much at all.

It's not "a piece of crap" any more than DVDs are... it just has more storage and terribly expensive... mind you I agree that it sucks, but my opinion is that optical discs suck... I'm waiting for flash memory to come down in prices

Well in terms of games, I agree in that discs do suck because of load times, especially with Playstations, Xbox's and PC games and everything. And flash is going down a lot these days. My dad has seen a few flash drives with about 64 GB go for pretty low prices.

Not only that but also reliability (home-burned discs are very unreliable, not factory-pressed), energy consumption, easy-to-scratch, etc... and obviously I'm talking about "common usage" here not just bought games or whatever.
and yes flash is going down in prices, but not as fast as I would like though.

Yeah, that's why I often bought consoles that used cartridges to avoid load times and because they're harder to screw up. CDs and DVDs get scratched wayy too easily and I've noticed that when I buy a CD or DVD and I put it in the drive, then it'll come out with scratches. I've tried it on several drives and it's always the same. Maybe I'm buying crappy drives or CDs and DVDs are made so poorly that they get scratched by being in a drive. I dunno, but I do agree with you.

That just shows that you don't know s-h-i-t about blueray.. I can see the difrence is not small at all,, Much more detailed, much more beatifull.. (Maybe it's because you don't have a good enough Full HD tv and the hdmi cable ofcourse)

I know what I'm talking about, I have a HD TV and HDMI and all that other crap, I just don't see the point in paying for something with slightly better quality which is hardly noticeable anyway. More storage? I don't care about that.
