Things that Changed your Life!
In the past year there was an incident that forever changed my life. A single defining moment that challenged the foundations of my reasoning, acting and thinking: We got a cat! This may sound strange so I will elaborate.
Cats affect mankind unlike any other animal. Think of ancient Egypt, they used to be objects of worship even! But how did they manage that? They are brainwashing you!  Yes you. Even me. I have testimony of what they did to me, see and judge for yourselves.
- I started thinking on how to sneak up on them like they do with me. The hunter becomes the hunted, the element of surprise will be mine this time!
- I started rubbing my head against them. Can you imagine? It's not like I don't have hands to pet them.
- When my cat lays curled in a cute position I stare at her like mesmerized, further proof that they are using their charm on us.
- I play reflex games with them thus sinking into their level. A tail grab for a scratch, is that what is in store for the rest of humankind?
- Just look at those eyes, you can sense the evil emanating from them.
Even dogs the man's best friend cannot extend that kind of influence. We don't dig holes, we don't chew on bones, we don't chase the cars - ok sometimes we do that for taxis - and thank goodness for that. We must band together and stop the cat dominion plans from reaching fruition. I can sense her lurking around the corner, she knows I'm here.. Pretend nothing happened!

You mean you never dug a hole?
Don't kids these days ever get to sit in a yard with a stick anymore? Just sit there with a stick... and dig a hole. Then you look at the stick, you look at the hole and you have a little fun.
Most of us probably don't chew on bones though. On the other hand, I didn't start licking myself, puking wherever I feel like it or sleeping in the wardrobe.
And my cat acts like a dog most of the time - always seeks company, waits faitfully at the door when I'm coming back and wants to sleep on my head at nights. I don't let it in the room because it'd wake me up at night for purr time. Nothing like a nice nose licking with a fish breath coupled with a few tail smacks across the face to wake you up in the morning
So the only change is that I lock my room at nights
btw, why do cats always turn their asses at you when they want you to pet it?

It reminds me of Carlin's line "the cat pets itself for you". It's true the cats I know brush between my legs and against my hand without me moving.

I think it's time you all saw the vast difference between me and Elvin. Let's break it by points:

I prefer counter-attacks. When she thinks she's sneaking up on me, I just turn around and growl with a scary face. It sends her running all the way to the furthest corner of the apartment.

For cats, note that there is a biiiiig difference between a cat and a tomcat. I've had both in my life, and frankly, a tomcat is something very special and beloved indeed.
All cats I know are much shyer than tomcats. Tomcats will LOVE to be belly-ruffled - but try that with cats. 
In fact a tomcat shares some characteristics with a dog: he will, for example, guard his turf - and your home is part of that. He'll watch all visitors he doesn't know, and he'll even guard the baby from your sitter, if it's the first time for the sitter.

Counter-attacks are my specialty, I have a good insight on how she will attack me and which are her weak spots I often put my hand under the blanket to taunt her into attacking when it suddenly appears but the moment she attacks she immediately jumps back because she knows it's a trap ^^ The best part is when you know which path she'll take so you are one step faster in capturing her.

Corny but honest.
This site did.
I experienced the shared goal of creativity and fun. I learnt that people who can't or don't function so well maybe in the offline world have a lot to offer and that it feels good to make someone who you will never see smile do a

I wonder what cats think of people who hunt and bring game home. They still seem to carry dead animals home though.
