A TBS game proposition that will look like an RPG one.
I am so sick of trying pre-made maps from the developer that emphasizes on the hero that is now the self-proclaimed king of his/her entire faction at the very start of the scenario.
Turns out, the devs. made an entire campaign out of it. Multiple objectives of a greater mission. Turns out, also, that all you have to do is conquer every other player(AI mainly) of the entire map. Is that, not, the main goal of the game, anyway?
I say, let's include a character that impersonate yourself, in the starting army. And, you have to make sure, you do not die, before getting the first village/town. Therefore, if you end up, losing your capital city and, you still have at least one more city of your own faction, you can just run to that very city. What if, you get captured trying to sneak out the defeated city? You can always get sent to that infamous prison onto that same map. Your nearest hero has the automated goal of searching for that very prison and, bring you back to that city(you find yourself waiting for that hero, now turned loner general of a dying faction, city become neutral, ruler-less). Even, though, your opponents conquer that very city, as long as the general-hero has a descent army and, lives, that faction is now a nomad like tribe, searching for their leader.
But, if the hero dies onto the battlefield(the most experienced or not), the opposite happens. You, the ruler, only have to, go the tavern and hire another one. Just like HoMM4 though, a marker is left, where such hero died for his/her country/faction. Only this time, you will need a level three Mage guild to ressurrect such hero(very powerful arch-mages are now present and available for such holy magic to be performed). Low level heroes(level ones, mostly), can have the unfortunate demise of you, the ruler, decide, not to leave a marker for that one(enemy hero not having any respect for the deceased and, was buried in a mass grave in order to clear the road or field of these incompetent, insignificant and, unknown of war-like reputation).
I will add, that, a military rank should be apposed upon the many heroes of a steadily growing, imperial faction(many cities and, a Capitol has been built in the main-starting city).
In HoMM6, campaigns could be made in a growing world map. You start off with no village in a Tiny map and, once completed, you continue on a slightly larger map, which has now become, a small one. You continue on, until the entire world, is now, you own, personal domain.
That is where, the expansion #1 start. First quadrant of that galaxy, to explore, expand(colonize)and, exterminate(destroy all enemies in your path).
How's that for extreme change of gameplay experience

In response to the other topic of where Jikiri9 as proposed town changes.
Jikiri9 has, undoubtedly a good point here. But, I must add that, with the new population growth over weeks and months, plus, thorough cleansing of neutrals within the new kingdom's territory, now, brings the possibility of putting down the keep and both Citadel and Castle walls. Once the dimensional gates closed down/destroyed and, the mountainous passageways to the other territories cleared of non-recognized border armies, a new type of Castle of a border wall can be built to fully stop invading armies from entering the kingdom's territory.
From here, all kinds of dwellings and institutional complexes can be built anywhere, the player feels like having or needing, in the whole territory's lands. Preferably, where the newest Hamlets and very small countryside villages have popped up(population growth's effect).
As the empire grows even further due to successful invasions of the nearby territories, that Castle wall can be put down again for allowing the same Castle wall to be rebuilt at the Frontal borders of the other territories. Making a possible count of 4 to 6 Castle walls in total. Maybe even more, according to the size of the map played. This optional kingdom expansion will not be implemented on Tiny and Small maps though. Only onto the Medium/Normal size and up.
How about that for a totally redesigned HoMM's gameplay experience as for HoMM6

I just can not believe Dexter, himself, fell for Elvin's early April Fool's joke.
Taking my actual proposition for a much needed and, way newer type of PC strategy game such as MM:H6 for an April Fool's joke! I have fallen to the deepest level of mockery ever.
I am very serious about that proposition of a new game. And, there is no mention of any Disciples 3 like decrepit interface. Having bought Disciples 2 and its expansions does not mean I like their approach in the battlefield's animations and total lack of real interactions between the battling units.
Furthermore, I did not even thought of acquiring any further Disciples titles. Trashed the whole Disciples 2 suite after it only gathered dust than anything else.
Hope that the devs. of MM:H6 really do read this topic thread of mine and, get to ratify a lot of their own thoughts towards developing such a newer strategy game. All I am asking is, no more DX9.x type of crappy interfaces and more realism such the like of seasons instead of weeks and, seeing the population growing + build all kinds of new things within their own kingdom as time progresses(Direct impact of the many decisions the player-king gets to take as the game goes forward). Now, that would be, totally,

Not responding to my H.C.Messages! How rude!
People, not answering to your HCMs is downright rude.
Helping you in the best possible way is, what I do best. OK
And, for idiots with the Vanilla(version 1.0+patches) onto the ancient O.S. of Windows XP(2001-original version of it and, without the service packs intalled onto it), please, do not expect us not to suggest you to make a costly upgrade of both the machine and the game(up-to T.o.t.E.).
This is, after all, a genuine proposal for a retail version of HoMM6.
Note: Coming to this forum web site in search of help about your installation of HoMM5 and, then, downright, refusing such radical help is, totally and, completely, stupid.
