Please upload the listed maps somewhere
I have lost my installation of HOMM 3 WOG and is very nostalgic of the lost maps. So please, link where they can be located or upload yourself:
List(may be edited)
Troglodyte Rebellion (Campaign)
Devilish Pride, Angel and Titan Pride(map, made by somebody with his name beginning from R)
Simon Scrowe`s RPG maps(just link to his site, if its still up)
Maps regarding a stroy about ritcher1 and ungoliant. (I am pretty sure these were H3 forum members somewhere. But the maps are cool anyway)
Any other challenging RPG map. I heard there`s one wher you have to defeat many dwarves with a beholder and ogre mage..
The Barbarian conqueror...or something like that.(The main hero`s name is something like Leonardo, he threw his wife into prison, and had to conquer first a pair of barbarian cities, then the swamps, then...uh, don`t remember)
A map about the orb of Inhibition, very challenging too (you have to beat 9999 dragons to get the orb of inhibition and win map, necromancer comes at the start to capture your castle and you have to escape and you are playing as barbarians as well)

Click my signature for those and so much more. You'll have to register to the groups. Why that bothers some people is beyond me. Especially for what these sites offer. If you like all kinds of vintage H3 maps, that's where you have to go anymore these days.

As an aside, is there a way to find out which of the single-scenario maps will let me use the Heroes from the expansions? I'm fond of Adrienne, Dracon, and the Ironhearts.

I believe that all the maps represented by Angelito are in SoD format. It's not a given, but you could access the map editor, and save them as SoD maps in order to play them in any fashion you want. Just don't release them to the public that way please ....
