I like your new screen. Replace the road with grassy fields and try to make that mountain more real.

I think the Peasant and the Rogue would fit here extreamly well for lvl 1, and 3.
A wolf is something I'd rather not see in a romanian town, built around vampires.
Have Bats for lvl 2, weak flyer, with no retal and the upgrade would have life drain obviously. Kind of like a pixie, on a higher tier.
I also think the vampires are a little too close to necropolis', I suggest a mounted vampire for lvl 5-6
It'd also be nice to include wendigo as a lvl 4-5 creature maybe. I know it's originated from america but the modern film versions of it fit the theme perfectly, and give a nice alternative to the werewolf thing.
edit: By the way, very nice background!

Are you sure? Vampires are mentioned already in the egyptian myths and the first Vampire is Cain, who killed his brother and damned to suck blood, fear sunlight and live eternity...

Then I live next to you, in Hungary
Anyway the wolves would fit well, but having them AND vampires in the same town looks strange.
Rogoue is a good choice because of the traveling gypsies, and the fact that you won't have to make a def for the unupagraded version. For me, they seem to be a must, in a romanian based town.
edit:
As for the Dread Knights, they are still further away from Vampire Knights, than Vampires are form Nosferatu(especoially since Necropolis vampire is based n the Nosferatu concept).
I tought you could make the mounted vampires more like hussars, than knights. With light armor, cloak, and a saber.
Nosferatu should be the commander.
Count for might, and oracle for magic class.
Anyway, you could also use Dead trees as a lvl 4 unit. A weaker version of Dendroids. Little work, much coolness.
In my opinion:
Lv 1 Peasant - Militia
Lv 2 Bat - Vampiric Bat
Lv 3 Rogue - Trickster
Lv 4 Dead Tree - Dread Tree()
Lv 5 Wendigo - Blood Wendigo
Lv 6 Vampire Knight - Vampire Hussar
Lv 7 Zmeu-Balaur

1)The myth of Cain is not Egyptian...it's Jewish
2)The thing that Cain is the first Vampire, is from Vampire: The Masquerade...It's not on the bible...
3)Vampires originate from the Balkan region(we can put Egypt here too) and the eastern europe generally, but due to the fact that count Dracula is the most famous vampire, they are considered Romanian mythology

Vampires are creatures with body. They originate from egypt as bloodsucking minions of the deaths' world. They depicted as red eyed females with white skin.
Rupiers are ghostly creatures suck out the power of humans. They originate from slavish myth and they could occupy human body. They could be kill if you dig out their dead body and destroy it. They are the "vampires" that the modern world knows.
Real vampires, like the egyptian ones, cannot be killed because they are demigods. They are the basis of Cain's myth, which is jewish indeed. Cain not a vampire as we depict vampires, but he mentioned mqany times as the First.
I learned mythology for years long and I know that there is many other creature called as vampires. Dracula (Vlad Tepes) is not a vampire but a rupir because he is undead in myths.
And about Vampire: The Masquarade... I hear this title only once so long... It is a film like Underworld? Or a game like D&D? Sorry but things like this are out of my interest so I don't know them...
And if I mentioned Underworld... As a hungarian I must ask, why? The whole story was a bit... well, better not to say but I'm sure that the Corvin (or Corvinus) line is not connected for the vampires. We hungarians does not have any vampire story afterall...

Nézd mán, egy honfitárs
Anyway Vampire: The masquarde is a table RPG, and there is also a pc game based on it(pretty cool, it has action, dialog options, and a pretty badass story).
...And yeah, the Corvin line has never had connection to vampires, however I heard that maybe the Báthory family were tought to be vampires. Or was it just another game...?
Either way both the Vampire, and the Underworld series are great vampire stories.

Hát igen
Elizabeth Báthory thougth a vampire-like creature (never mentioned exactly as a vampire) but it was simple jealousy. At that time House Báthory was in the highest bidder of the power an as like that it had it's jealous enemies. These other great or even smaller Houses used the fact of Elizabeth's madness (she became mad 'cause her husband died) and created a monster from her. That act proven enough to pull House Báthory back in the ladder and made possible for other Houses to ascend it's former place.
Elizabeth Báthory used the young girls blood for bathing because she thought it makes her immortal and beautyfull. Only the modern folklore make her a vampire when films starting to say she drink blood...
But thinking about it... Bela Lugosi was a real vampire! He was Dracula himself!
Oh, yes! Lizardwarriors militia is great! Afterall militia is not more than a band of armed peasants and\or workers. Militia is a cannonfodder and not a military unit.

I see, sounds cool
Either way we can conclude that Hungary has many connections to vampires: Bathory, Lugosi, and the simple fact that Transylvania was hungarian territory.
This town is a cool idea LW, maybe you should call it Manor, or something tough. Also, what do you think about my line up?
