Heroes Chronicles Firey Moon/World Tree
Hi all 
I been playing Heroes Chronicles since it first came out, and I don't know if this might be an old topic, but I'd love to get my games up and running. I recently found out that there were 4 more games of Heroes Chronicles (Beast master, Firey Moon,Frost, and Tree). I went onto torrents and downloaded Them all, but I can only get Frost and Beastmaster to work. The other two when I launch the game doesn't work. I have DirectX 9,and it says minimum requirement is DirectX 7. I'd like osme help whenever possible, and sorry if I posted in the wrong area.

Buy the games and after that maybe somebody will help you getting them work.

Unfortunately you'll need to have at least one legitimate Chronicles disc in order to run The World Tree or The Fiery Moon. They hold necessary video files.

I sctually have 4 of the 5 cds for heroes chronicles. I bought them back in 01 when they came out.

I downloaded Chronicles:Fiery Moon and World Tree,but i cant instal them because it says that i need to have 2 or 3 other Chronicles installed.
Where can i download previously Chronicles..etc.Master Of Elements and others?, so I can play these two.
Or can i download them somewhere to play them as custom campaigns?

The other parts of Heroes Chronicles are no downloadable content. You have to buy them - I think Ebay will be your friend.

Getting this game is making me go INSANE! Seriously, World Tree/Fiery Moon are supposed to be the EASIEST ones to get, yet I'm here day after day trying to get them with no success.
I can't tell you how many official sites I've downloaded them from only to have it say it's only available with US domestic version (which I don't have). I bought all 4 original Heroes Chronicles back in the day.
As much as I hate to do it, I had to resort to torrents, and even then, I've had no success. Had to waste bandwidth to download whole complete versions of Chronicles just to get those 2 games, and they crash whenever I boot them up, even when I have a real Chronicles CD in my drive, so I don't know what's going on. Very unhappy about this, considering these games are supposed to be free.

cepheus, thanks for the help, but i just finished downloading yet another Heroes Chronicles complete package (killer on my bandwidth. i am very scared to see my bill this month), but good news is that this finally works! there's no intro video, but that's not a big problem. thanks again for everything

Although I hate necroing old, old topics,I'd rather post here then create a 1-word-answer topic, and I can't seem to find any topics with the following basic questions answered.
So:
1) Are these games still available for purchase/download?
2) I've heard that they only have a Campaign, no scenarios or anything. Is that true? 
3) Would you recommend the purchase/download of these games? More or less : Are they any good?

You can't download from the 3DO sites now. But you may find them on other places like torrent sites (I think it is going to be not a problem to send you there since there isn't official downloading page for them).
Look around the heroes fan sites too, like Age of Heroes and Celestial Havens there may be something as well.
The games you seek are campaign only. No freeplay (single or multi). But they are more or less connected to the old NWC universe and heroes story, also to the other Heroes chronicles games.
They were fun to play to me.
