Magic Charts - spell value for each town
These charts aim to show a close to real value in numbers for each spell. Ideally this would be a 3D table with the opponent town included also , but that would be far too heavy and I didn't do it. Spells are graded from one to five, one being the lowest and five the greatest.

You mean the probability to find each spell in mages guild where 1 point = 10% ?
Also X at DV is 0 ?

1-5 = power of the spell when being used by that town
X = imba
0 = not usable or completely useless
There are two mistakes in the dark chart at COTN 0 instead of 5... because I initially aproached the problem from the harming perspective for dark spells, but gave up that thought in the end, but forgot about that spell.

Your chart seems to say that some spells cast by one faction are less/more effective than the same spell cast by another faction. For example, consider the spell fire trap. You have a 2 under Haven and a 4 under Necro.
I'm having trouble understanding why that would be. It is the first I've heard of the class of the hero having effect on the power of a spell. I've always thought that the thing that mattered was the skill level in the relevant skill (e.g. summoning for fire trap).

There is the skill level of the spell, and the spell power. Generally Necropolipse will have a bit higher Spell Power then Haven.

Yes, some spells are better than others for different towns...
Spell power is not the only factor to be taken into consideration, town orrientation, creatures strengths and special abilities like Mark of the Wizard/ Necromancer and others make all the difference.
