1. Please, tell us about development of Forge town and its fate. Did you just get rid of it? If not, is there any chance to resurrect this project (by fans and, of course, with ex-NWC guys help: sources, graphics, materials)?
2. Did you know about extraordinary popularity of the game in Russia? Did you plan to organize any HoMM competitions in USA or even worldwide?
3. Could you, please, share with us your ideas on creating spells. Why spell 'Fear' was abandoned and, then, replaced with 'Titan's Lightning Bolt'?
4. What else could we see in the game if you (NWC guys) had had enough time to complete all you wanted to be completed?

i think that ex-NWC team are not fans of homm3 sources, graphics i guess are owned by Ubisoft. However we can ask him who from ex-NWC still likes homm3 - if he keep contact with them.

he is not related to any tournaments. "extra popularity" by the way is too optimistic. compare 200-300 regular homm3 players and 200000 players into Warcraft or other games

good question

in which version?

Quote: 200-300 regular homm3 players
There were more than 200-300 players in those past days
Quote: In which version?
All, in development of which he actually had been involved.

Could we please have more detailed informations about the RMG and its features?
For example:
- the values (or value ranges) of each object (e.g.: utopia start with around 10.000, conservatories with 2000, etc...)
- What do the sizes of each area exactly mean. Are these numbers related to anything?
.
.
.
Maybe a kind of manual for the whole sheet exists?
Would help a lot to create great templates....

too general question. General info is HERE

as we all know, it's not a unique value for an object but a range. perhaps he will tell us something new about these ranges...

i guess they set relative proportions between all zones. right? if not, then please explain what is wrong

i remember there was post (maybe yours?) in Library with explanations. can you please find this link, so we can see what fields still not 100% clear.
i personally would like to know more about "1 per zone" objects like stables, observatory etc.

All starting zones in Jebus for example have the same "size" in the template. But we all know, in reality, those zone often differ very much in size. Why is that? Does each zone size relate to a different "mother number"?

Yes, it was made by me (6th post in this thread), but many things couldn't be explained there. Be it (as mentioned) the zone sizes, the value ranges, the restrictons, etc...

Hi, can you ask Gus to share any memories he may have of the NWC Heroes V project - plans, ambitions etc (if he participated in its development)?
If he did, can he confirm whether it was also to be set in Axeoth (the world introduced in Heroes IV)? Many thanks.

There are 2 questions to the Heroes III creator:
1)Why did NWC and 3DO failed as companies?
2)How to add new creatures, towns etc. in Heroes 3?

-what is your opinion on WOG?
-did you play Salamandre's maps? (if not, they are strongly recommended! )
-the community already knows a lot of ways to modify heroes, but there are certain limits like the town limit and creature limit. do you know how to solve these problems?

Quote: There are 2 questions to the Heroes III creator:

was asked a lot times; not interesting
Quote:
2)How to add new creatures, towns etc. in Heroes 3?
officially no way; unofficially he can't help/does not know

i doubt that he played even SOD. he is not a player.

if that would be easy, then we would all know it already. this is very difficult without source codes. he does not own source codes

Then ask him what program do we need to extract the Source Code.
