Had 10 months to improve them for staying alive vs the last boss. He is 95% block, launch Armageddon on hit, creatures he kills transform in ghost behemoths, and has 500 millions HP, not to speak of tremendous defense and damage. He can be fought only if your hero is more than level 100. Fight lasted 30 minutes, until he died.

Those stats are crazy! You can't just blind it and reblinding it?
Or set up a forcefield with some shooters behind?

Yes he ignore obstacles, but he can't place on force field, so he will hit only 1 hydra stack which will be resurrected on next turn(forgot to say he has naturally "all around attack" as it wasn't enough)

he is immune to everything, and with shooters I would need at least 500 arrows and place field before he moves. Or my catapult acts first but on second round he would destroy it, so I will not have time to put the field a second time. He has 500 speed.
Quote: That's what I call a real challenge What map it is?
"The Dragon Slaughter", the most famous chinese map. You start with one creature (henchman) but this creature improves very fast, so by the end of the first week you are already level 30. Things go worse after that because the neutrals growth faster than you and the stacks on map go over 4k before month two. You have the possibility to hire a second henchman, even a third for special characters and they all have a progress path consisting on about 80 new abilities, never used in Heroes until that. As Ghost and Vampire ability, cast mass spells, cast 8 spells/round, change battle terrain, transform a creature in a higher level one and many others.
Hopefully by month 4-5 you can take the first emerald tower and from there you won sooner or later.

How much did you have left after you defeated him? How well does the AI work? I remember fighting something similar in the game diablo, though not with those damage numbers (from the monster) and about 10% of that hit point. Yet there the trick pretty much was to combine damage, resistance and leech to a degree where you can leech enough life back that the monster can't damage you fast enough, before you win. Though I hardly see how something like that can be used in such a situation, especially since it's only vamps who got leech AFAIK.
So if he's magic immune, death star doesn't work? Does it mean that DS also doesn't work on Black Dragons in original game?

Death stare definitely works on dragons. In this game it does not work on the Ghost behemot despite being alive creature (has morale), I guess it is scripted like that. I did lost nothing, as my attacks leech life and the damage is enough to revive any casualties. But I was protected by clones and he could break the wall only twice.
Without clones I was toasted.
