cavalry,how do you say:
Mounted Peasant
Tier 2/3
Peasants use their horses, used therfore for heavy works in agriculture. Now they use all who can to protect themself agasint archedemons. The Peasants use axe, used for wood cuting, and they armored, their horses with wooden bars and a bell
Stats:Attack low,Defense low,high hp,Speed and initiative high
abilities:Rider Charge
Cart
Tier 2/3
Groups of humans formed primitive moving fortress. They use a old cart and make wooden wall around it,improved with some metal high pieces, with some holes in wall for rifles. The cart have 4 horses with a primitive wooden armor, put togheter with a simple mecahnism. They're around 5 men in a cart with rifles, they put rifles in wall's holes for shoot.
Stats:Attack high,Defanse high,hp high,low speed and medium initiative
Abilities:Shooter,Armored
A new idea:How about when a hero conquer a human castle it will be trasformed in oriented hero faction, undeads of example, they fought with citzen, farmers, policemen etc. and now they can transform this town in one of them,if hero didn't have necessary money, they can use the town only once and recruit from it,if he leave town,it will be again neutral

@lizard. The town idea was what I had in mind somehow. Not sure, though, whether the towns should become neutral again if they are not transformed.
I like both the ridin peasant and the cart but I even meant:
Cavalry
Tier 3
The cavalry of the human armies is trained for the mounted combat. Equipped with a sword, but they can also trample down the enemy.
Dragoon
Tier 3/4
Also mounted, and rather quick therefore, but unlike the cavalry they bear a rifle into battle, combining quickness with the ability to strike from range.
Remember, even the stronger human units are weaker than most factional units!

Why not Hussars?
Hussar
Tier 3
Hussars was once the most powerful riders, now they're small in comparation with archdemons.Using a single-sharp blade,a leather coat and a large hat they try to stop the archedemons and bring again the light.
And how about the most powerful creature in the game?
Archdemon
Tier 7
There exist 13 archedemons, one per each factions. They bring the darkness were they go,there no exist hope agaisnt them.Humans leave the cities where anounce the coming of these death bringer. No one survive of them,no city wasn't destroyed after they came...
They can't be recruited, they will be only in campaings.

I suspected the archdemons mroe to be the enemy heroes in the final missions of the campaigns...you know, the archdemons fighting and killing each other's avatars (since remember: they ain't come onto earth in corporal form yet). and in the campaign before the last, the last archdemon makes it into human form, and in final campaign you fight this archdemon which has come on earth, probably as an alliance between men, watchmen, and that Light Order thing.
Hussar could be an upgrade for cavalry

Will there be any Inferno-ish type city, with the ultimate arch-demon as its ruler? Maybe it can be only in campaign, and have up to Tier Five?

Plaugebringers sound interesting! Maybe they need a lineup!
Tier 1: Swampling Muckling (basic melee, dispels curses)
Tier 2: Mud Slinger Swamp Hurler (shooter, poisens enemies)
Tier 3: Marsh Monster Bog Beast (attacks walls, tank)
Tier 4: Water Fiend Brackish Fiend (elemental, shooter, 30% poisen, 80% poisen corrupt)
Tier 5: Treant Corrupt Ent (slow walker, entangle, curses enemies, ensnares (improved entangle), corrupt)
Tier 6: Half-Giant Wildman (tank, enemy moral-1, enemy moral-2, shooter (throws boulders), no melee penelty, range penelty, corrupt)
Key: Red = Downgrade Ability, Green = Upgrade Ability, Black = Upgrade and Downgrade Ability (Corrupt works like demonic just to say)

Hi rabbid... nice you want to take participation
comments:
first of all, there won't be 7 creatures per faction probably, since there will be so many factions. Also, I think the creatures, though a nice& creative faction on its own, need a bit explanation and would probably need adaption to the setting. Mind: we're on earth of late 19th century. There are rifles, steam engines, beginning of electricity & photography, such things. Your faction, on the first look, could a) use more demonicism (since they ARE followers of the plague demon) b)maybe could be more adopted into the times.
I hope I don't dismotivate you ... I know I can be a bit suspicious and fussy when it comes to my concepts, sorry. I'm nevertheless glad you are willing to contribute!
EDIT:
@warlord: Tier 5 will be a high tier probably, since I was thinking of not going above tier 6 as maximum tier for faction, since there are so many factions...
and ...what do you mean by infernal factions? Most factiosn will be partly infernal in case of having at least one demonic or half-demonic creature. Yet there will be no real classical inferno faction, the closest to inferno I planned (but completely without the fire style!) would be Blood Legion!
EDIT 2:
Added more descriptions and Lineup for the Order & the Wild Ones.
Ideas on heroes that should be in the game:
Jack the Ripper - definitely! Don't know on which of the demonic sides (probably Nephilim) but shall definitely be there.
Dr. Jackel/Mr. Hyde - Gear Grinders, Watchmen, Wild Ones, Black Order or so
F. Nietzsche - The Crazy, definitely
H.P Lovecraft - must be a hero here, as well as:
Sir Arthur Conan Doyle & The Ghost of Edgar Allen Poe(Both Probably Watchmen)

K I'm cutting the carrion birds. And maybe Plaugebringers can have a demonic creature in the mix. Oh, and this would be a wildman: I didn't give them any technology because they live in swamps. Swamp monsters don't generaly go around with rifles!

I can't see it either Darn thing... Anyway, I thought of the creature descriptions. Swamplings would be the equivialant of an imp and looks a bit like the HOMM3 imp without wings and with green scales. Muckling gets horns. For the Mud slingers they look like muscular versions of smamplings that carry swamp ick to throw at enemies. Bog Beasts are cluts of slime with to huge fists made of rock (the beasts stand on "legs" just to say). water elementals look like a wave with a skull at the top. Brackish ones are green. Ents look more like the HOMM3 dendroids. The corrupt one looks evil. Wildmen are green skinned people that are quite big and have tusks. They can summon fears in mortals and make them freeze at the very sight of such monsters.

I partly really like your ideas for mirror worlders. The screamer, especially, sounds great!
For your necro lineup: Ghosts shall not ahve a place in it, since they shall be main part of "the Hollow" ... coming think to it, the reaper and maybe the screamer would fit there very well, too... the necromancers, in this version, stay with bringing dead BODIES back to life, as I enviison it.
Yet Bone Dragon, I'm also not sure, sicne IF there shall be dragons, they'd have to been hidden for centuries, and VERY rare.
What about undead Elephants? ... or they revive the fossiled, recently discovered (in there times) skeletons of dinosaurs!!! Now I like THAT idea imagine the T-Rex skeleton in the private museum of a British Noble suddenly moving and killing all the noble's guests

I see more and more our plaguebrigner visions differ very much^^
...I thought the plaguebrigners, originally, beign more vile and planfull than your plaguebringers seem to be...as I mentioned (or I hope I have) I planned tehm much less swamp-based...
Here a possible lineup to my original Idea of plaguebringers (mainly to give you the style, so no abilities first):
Tier 1: ImpVenom Bog/Vermin
Tier 2: Giant RatMutated Rat/Hell Rat
Tier 3: BacteriologistVirologist/Infector
Tier 4: SwarmInfectous Swarm/Demonic Swarm
Tier 5: ?/
Tier 6: Something Large with tentacles that spreads diseases^^/
They would kinda be the prescendors of the biological weapons of world war I, yet more relaying on natural way of spreading diseases and demonicism than technology
Quote: Prefixes for human units for each faction, when a hero of a specific faction recruit a human creature,he can be trained and gain one prefixe, example a Necromancer recruit a hussar,he is trained and become a Undead Hussar, who gain undead ability and attack bonus,I will make tabels tommorw:
THought of something similar before. Had thought of "blessed" humans for the order.
For plaguebringers, they would definitely become "infected", getting overall weaker, but spreading their dangerous diseases!!!
For mirrorworlders it would be "mirrored". Quite interestingly, here, stats change their relevance. Attack <-> Def, Damage <-> health (not in absolute numbers, but in strength relativations), Luck <-> Moral;
Dreamstalker humans are "haunted" and therefore become mmune against any other mind magic and affection!!!
Vampire Humans are just for feeding...they get no prefix, but a human unit in your army strengthens all vampiric troops in battle AND (more important) after a battle you can suffer human units to revive fallen vampires.
I don't think Necromancery would just turn them dead directly. Probably if tehy use them at all, they'll enslave 'em. so "enslaved" may be a good prefix.
The Wild Ones will maybe half-infect them, so these huamns become "wild", gaining, speed, ini, damage, for a high loss of defense.
The Nephilim will probably use humans as they are. Yet since these would follow satan, they could get a "Cultist" prefix, giving them allways positive moral or such.

Nephilim:
1.AdeptAcolyte/Novice (fresh blood)
2.ExtremistDemonstartor/Killer (those who cut theirself)
3.Corrputed SoldierCorrupted Rifleman/Corrupted Intrayman
4.CultistDemonologist/Heretic (satanist fanatics)
5.Bloody WarriorHell Warrior/Ghenna Warrior (berserekers with huge chains)

I will enter undead when we found an adequate Tier 3. perhaps a Flesh Golem? Or an undead beast of today?
For your Nephilim lineup - not exactly. More direct demons! We have lucifer as their master!!! Remember humasn are, in comparison, extremely week. And Tier 6, I guess you meant the same that I want there: Fallen Angels!
I suggest:
Nephilim:
1. SatanistFanatic/Follower
2. CultistDemonologist/Heretic
3. Obsessed?/?
4. SerpentSnake Queen/Hell Serpent
5. NephilimPure-Blood/(Nephilim)Avenger
6. Fallen AngelWingless OneLucifer's Rebel
EDIT: and I added the "dwarven" faction proposed by warlord, with lineup.

Never thougth of making own artwork, I'm a poor drawer.
Gargoyle shall definitely be in. Not sure, though, for which faction. They could join many factions, good or evil ... I think gargoyle would fit greatly with one of the mage circles- Watchmen or Black Order
