HEROINES V 1.0
Download
Heroines v 1.0
As I promised - today my H4 units upload in new H3 WoG path - "HEROINES"
HEROINES version 1.0 contain:
-new look and sounds of WoG commanders
-new look of some 8 level units
(supremeangel, hellbaron, ghost behemoth, sacred phoenix)
-new war zealot (animation and sounds)
-"new" implosion (graphic and sound)
-new other BMP and GIF pics
How to install it?:
-you need clean WoG 3,58f
-put file "Heroines.wog" in to "UPDATE" folder
-run H3wupd.exe
-run Heroes3.exe (wogyfy map) and be happy
Authors:
-all graphics and sounds (except sucumbus) extracted by JonJ (Zbigniew)
-sucumbus made (or extracted) by Darkloke
-sucumbus flying animation, small unit on the map, portraits- made by JonJ
-BMP pictures painted by JonJ

Package contain defs on battlefields (of course) and small defs on the map.

GOOD to see a MOD come out, even i do not like H4 units, it is still GREAT for me when i can see a ppl say and do what he say

I agree, the phoenix should be replaced if possible, they shade the mod.
There are some better phoenix on Packa's site to choose, maybe?

I don't have the game, so I'm not going to download, but it looks so amazing, I wonder, if anyone would like to answer some simple questions:
Are the stats of the HommIV monsters the same, but just now in HeroesIII (making them generally weaker than their HIII counterpart, if I remember correct).
How does the typical heroes of heroes IV work? I can see they've a spell book, but how about skills?
Also, it looks really amazing, sure some pictures/sprites/creatures aren't really perfect, but that doesn't change it's pretty damn cool.

Packa: I've downloaded patch few minutes ago without any problems.
Meybe will be better if I'll send path in your e- mail adress and than you place mod into -better- working hosting serwer? What do you think about this?
Evilhydra, Salamandre: It's hard to create mod contain only good looking (in all users opinion of course) units. Maybe in next version I'll try to find better model. Besides... In my opinion new Sacred phoenix is little strange but nice- looking unit.

Really great stuff JonJ
One think though. Can you make download link with only the defs and pictures and so on? I mean not an updater, but just the things you used for making this mod.
I'm asking you because I don't want to completely change my heroes Wog settings and creatures. I like some of the creatures you extracted and I may use them (just in my own way).
Keep up the good work (and don't forget to upload the Heroes IV creatures that weren't at all in Heroes 3, such as Satyrs, Mermaids, Leprechauns and so on )

You can't extract them from the rar file yourself?
Unpack and they will be there.
