Starcraft 2 beta went live again a while ago and it is soon to be released!! 
Its the best strategy game I have ever played (mayyybe, I liked Age of Mythology a lot because I am a mythology freak) and the Protoss are just so much fun! Protoss has so many fun abilities. Their whole Warp mechanic, Stalkers teleporting themselves, Void Rays charging up to deal huge damage and just all of a sudden sneak in some Dark templar and destroy the enemies base. ;D

My Arcane Warrior/Blood Mage is unbeatable. So many buffs... it's just ridiculous.
Rock Armour, Arcane Shield, Miasma, Shimmering Shield, Combat Magic with Fade Shroud, Flaming Weapons, Frost Weapons from Morrigan, Rally from Alistair, Song of Courage from Leliana...
Cast Blood Wound at start of battle, go in and tank. If enemy gets cocky I just Fireball 'em. See giant ogre thingy, cast Blood Control and watch the carnage.
Mwahahaha.
Also it took me three hours of gameplay to get into bed with Morrigan. The gift system is kinda overpowered when it comes to handling relations... 
I bought my way into her panties with silver amulets. Very valuable moral lesson indeed.

I don't remember what type I used. Probably an assassin of some sort. One shotted all ogres though.

Personally I think Leliana is way more awesome, but my character doesn't think so.
So yeah she's pretty damn whiny, but I'm roleplaying here.

Too bad the game doesn't give you a chance to kill all whiners.
Like Morrigan and Alistair. But it does give a rather good chance to punish them.

AW/BM is fun indeed, but from a power gamer's perspective not the best unless you play solo 
Not enough aggro control to be a real tank. Blood wound, as many other spells, is bugged: it should draw 80 aggro IN ADDITION to damage aggro it drains when used; however it doesn't, making it a weak lure. Sure, DA is so easy that you don't need to hold aggro for long (things die uber fast, 10 seconds is more than enough, and miasma itself draws aggro so... in the beginning they all go for your AW), but technically, it sucks. Cause once your enemies ignore your tank and go for squishy party members, you may ask yourself why do you wear all that armor and abilities that make your spells cost twice the mana/health they'd normally do - which means you don't need to be an AW after all.
In Awakening, Archers become awesome, and since they go for DEX only, their defense is so high (paired with heroic defense spell it's ABSURD..), that you don't need armor - enemies have 0% chance of hitting you. And with warrior archers, which are better anyway due to spirit warrior specialization, you can use taunt too, making your aggro control WAY better. Which means AW serves no purpose at all and should be dropped in favor of the new specs.*
* Unless you want to take advantage of the legion of the dead heraldry bug, which gives +20 to all stats instead of +2 like all other heraldries do. In such case the AW beats plain mage in every aspect since shield is a natural choice for him, and the heraldry is for shields alone.

Finally sat down and finished both Mass Effects (waiting for the third one).
The bit that had me playing the second part was that the choices you made in the first one carry over, unlike in Dragon Age (which was the reason I never finished the expansion). When I play a single player RPG I don't give a crap about balance or powergaming, what I care about are the storyline, my character and style. All of which are severely crippled if you find out that nothing you did in Origins really matters in the expansion.
Now mostly playing League of Legends with pals.

@DF: Most of my enemies are immobilized all the time anyway.
Force Field, Crushing Prison, Blood Wound, Sleep... cast a fireball and cone of cold on it if it moves... Things stand still and get mashed most of the time.
I also have a second tank who holds aggro better than me, which makes me being an AW kinda redundant... but I feel cool, that's enough reason

Been going through all the Heroes V campaigns(+expansions) which I purchased a while ago. Very enjoyable  . Also some Warcraft III with mates.

Ah, Stronghold. One of my childhood favs.
Love the characters. Pisses me off that the Snake's got such a retarded AI in Crusader though. He was my favourite character besides the Caliph.
Anyhow, I've got to share the good news with you guys. Full Throttle suddenly and inexplicably started working on my XP...
HELL YEAH.
I should try Grim Fandango again too... It's a good day for miracles.

Good old Pig. I love how the AI in that game all have unique builds to their castles. Saladin builds fancy-pants castles. Phillip builds castles that look like they were designed by somebody with terminal late stage brain cancer. Lionheart builds square castles. The Caliph makes round towers, etc.

But that's back when you could count the pixels on a building with the naked eye.
