Ok, so I got the ERM scripts in place to properly set which creature the heroes will start with.
I'm excited as the town is nearly finished!
I need to finish the abilities for a handful and then the .def (I decided to finish them).

Making a list for myself on what still needs to be fixed.
Base Level 2 Unit Def (Faun, needs to look different than Satyr)
Level 5 Unit Defs (Acolyte/Druid) I believe LizardWarrior said he might have them, if not I'll attempt to do it.
Changing heroes names
Changing heroes specialties.
Changing heroes starting skills.
Look into changing the buildings of the conflux.
Look into changing whenever an air elemental spawns to spawning and earth elemental and vice versa.
Finish changing trolls to wolves.

About Druids,the H3 deftoll don't generate shadown,I think when I work in photoshop,the base of color was changed.

I'm confused.
Are you saying that the shadow color was changed?
Or you don't have shadows at all?
Deftool can generate shadows.

The shadow isn't generate,the photoshop change the base of color,I didn't know why,the only way is to change the color in paint.

Did it change the color of the background or the shadow?
If you have the full def I can look at it and see what I can do in paint to try to fix it.

Can someone help me with my def?
It looks fine in paint/photoshop/defpreview/deftool but in game during the attack animation is looks awful.

Well, right now I'm replacing.
I have no idea if I'll be able to add it to 3.59 when it comes out.
If it's as easy as people say, then it'll be easy to add. I'll probably change the first level creature when 3.59 comes out if I can add it.
I'm 90% done. The town is fully playable. I just need to make a few changes and I'll be releasing it.
Have to change the acolyte/druid animation, the small creature portraits... and that's it.
A few bugs I need to work on.
Satyrs don't highlight when it's their turn... so I need to find a way to fix that. I guess I'll just need paint yellow around them or something.

Buildings are remaining the same for now... but I still plan to work on them.
I need to change the specialties of the heroes and starting skills.
So hopefully one more week and it'll be done.
As for the bat swarm being bigger than 2 hexs, that was on purpose.
Like in DnD, swarms move into the same space as other creatures and do damage, so I had my swarm reflect that.
If anyone wants any of my defs to use, just ask and I'll post them up.

Grim04 can i ask you a question? You see,i am trying to replace the Necro faction from the game at someone request. Almost done with graphics and everything with one exception. Even the troops on map have their looks changed if i engage them in battle , for a second they change their appearance back to the original units.

That's the creature's attack frame. You need to change them for all creatures in AVWATTAK.DEF (not quite sure about the name) .

The creature from WOW is color screwed by def tool. If you stretch in def preview you will see that it is full of white pixels and such. This is because HoMM palette can't handle all those colors.
There is a way to fix it, if you still have the source frames:
Fade shadow: 0.255.255, check box
Deep shadow: 0.128.255, check box
Now check all other option boxes without changing the parameters. Apply shadow. Compare with previous.

I have no plans to fix the def for the WoW creatures. I don't even notice what you're talking about when looking.
My job has ramped up and I'm working literal 7 day work weeks so this project is on hold.
It's playable and I just need to fix some various portraits and change the heroes skills/starting abilities.
I'll attempt to put what I've done in a .wog file soon.
I do need to change the commander since it no longer fits the town.

That I meant. Can be fixed in 2 minutes with new shadow parameters. You decide.
