In those kinds of games you get easily town portal though, add logs and you can easily move around changing avenger at will. Or in neutral towns. Annoying for sure but either way who cares about skirmishes? Sylvan does not need it for those, just epic battles.

played 1-2 games with sylvan already - it seems that only the main hero can use it effectively - if u mentor another ranger at some point of the game his avenger list will be empty , same with the secondary hero - if he kills the x-bows near the castle only he will be able to put them as favoured enemies...
