Again? There's no stopping them, is there?
Although I got tired of Armored Princess before I even covered half the game, so I doubt I'll be getting this one for a while.

Sounds familiar anyone?

I loved this game, but since the replay value is rather low so I can't wait for this one.

Well, its out and... rather underwhelming.
It got me playing the core game again but thats mostly just the randomisation that was already in it.
A handful of new units, spells mostly ported directly from the Legend rage abilities, a few new quests but the only part that really adds to the replayability are the new items.
The orc adrenaline revamp is kinda... imbalanced. Especially neutral orcs are very frustrating since they often seem to get full adrenaline at the start and pound you with abilities that would be overpowered even within the normal limits. For example, the new Goblin Shamans can sacrifice one of their numbers to deal a lot of astral damage. Thankfully they can only do it three times per battle but expect that to happen on their first move.
The older orc units on the other hand seem to be fairly balanced around that concept.
There are also two added mini-campaigns but I honestly couldn't really get into them. Both have basically no exploration elements, counting mostly on even more randomisation to be interesting. One puts you into a series of battles under special conditions, the other is basically reusing every boss battle from Legend and Armored Princess with some side objectives inbetween each.
