Crag Hack all the way. What's the use of having a hero with Offense specialty if your level up points don't go towards attack as much? I also seem to get Air Magic a bit more often with Barbarians than Battle Mages, oddly enough.
There is something to be said when you're one dimensional. Especially when one dimension is all you need.

That really depends on my starting town
If its a town that can build a level 5 guild, Im more than happy with Gundu, but for Stronghold/fortress and Castle, Id go for Crack Boy anyday  .
Offcourse it also depends on arties, if u have recanters there really aint no point in having Gundu running around, but with tome off earth or air, Id prefer her.

Terek. Why? Because speed is essence in battlefield. With high level Terek, opponent will never get moves between your troops. He also comes with tactics, which is along with Air Magic the most important battle skill for Stronghold heroes.
Offense and Armorer heroes are over-rated anyway. Normal offense is more than enough for Stronghold heroes. Without Haste or Air Magic it won't help a lot.

Dont care about Hack or Gundula with Stronghold, seldom take them. The Damage Difference of Offensespeciality with a Strongholdarmy is LOL.

Gundula is better than Hack, no question about it. She developes more balanced skills - primary and secondary, while with Hack you need some magic artifacts if you want him to cast any magic that lasts more than a round or two. Also the offense bonus applies to the base damage, not the total damage and is more usefull for Gundula than for Hack. For instance 1 Archangel with +20 A/D difference with level 1 Hack will do 100 + 30% * 50 = 115 damage, so the offense bonus increases the total damage with only 15%. With Gundula (assume +10 A/D) the same archangel will do 75 + 15 = 100 damage, so the offence bonus is now 15/75 = 20%.

offense and armorer specially underrated or lol? you guys play a different game than lol.
and hack is better than gundula usually for the same reasons tazar is better than neela, specially with those tomes he would be defreni, coz you need no wisdom to use them so hack saves that skill for intelligence (yeah he can get that too  )

No one will argue, but the purpose of the poll was to decide, which offence boosting Stronghold hero they like more - The Might or the Magic( not so Magic if no other towns than stronghold or fortress are posessed though )

You'll never know when you'll need that additional damage, or when you'll need to get rid of it.
How will the two affect Haste or Air Magic?

Gundulla will do ok in every case. Hack NEEDS extra magic artifacts to be great. I've had level 20 or so Hack with a knowledge of 2

I say Hack, because Wisdom is a Skill, I dont want early(or at all?). Lvl20 Hack with 2 Knowledge is really Rare.
At Lvl 10+ his chances are 20% on Magic PrimSkills, so even if there is NO School of Magic, KnowledgeArt... to get.
But I dont care much about one of these, they are both no really great Heros for Stronghold.
60%+ Dam from a Level 20 Offensespez. looks fine, but when its in Real only ~20% of your Damage Amount and the Speciality itself works out as ~10%, it isnt such important anymore.
Taz(or any Armorer) is ten times better than Hack in any Endfightrelevant Levels.

Well, I don't use either one, being a Tower fan, but I would vote Crag Hack for two reasons:
1: He is a Might character. Offense is a proper specialty for a might character. Gundula should have specialized in something else, maybe fireball or something.
2:I remember him from HMM2 when one hero was just as good as another and all you decided was if you wanted Might or Magic and chose the appropriate class and grabbed the hero that looked coolest. I miss Maximus...

Crag or Tazar?
It depends on the situation, but I kinda like Crag more than Gundula so I would Usually pick Crag (yes it matters how much I like him).
And as for Tazar and Neela, I would pick NEELA every time I had this decision to make. The reason is easy, I like her much better than any other armourer hero so I don't care IF Tazar is better skilled than her... (this is not really on topic )

Zsa...Neela starts with SCHOLAR!! how can u choose Neela over Tazar when she starts with one of the suckiest skills you can have on a main? Get another scholar to do the spell trading for you, one always turns up, scholar is such a sad waste of a skill slot, when it doesnt need to be there.
Btw Hack rocks, and he always gets air. Expert Tactics, expert haste, and "bang", she's a;; over boys and girls
