Markal was the best made character in the game. And I agree with Cep that Godric is a dolt. Why Ubi removed the old chars... eh... if they bring back just some of them, this can only give them a benefit, some of them are very fan loved... we miss them.
You insiders can offer them returning some of the oldies? Or at least ask them why they do not want to?
Also why orcs in H5 need to be retards?

Well I asked about whether they take those H5 references to the old characters seriously, and the response was yes. So there is indeed a Solmyr, Crag Hack and Sandro in Ashan, you can expect to encounter them at some point, and they may or may not be connected to the familiar characters we all know.
I'm not sure how far they're going to take that connection - are they actually the same classic characters in the same universe, or do they simply share the same name and personality - but although our discussions usually aren't directly related to storylines, I do keep lobbying for the "old universe" and its characters when it's appropriate. Nothing's certain, but I have a hunch that things will work out well for both "sides".

I recall that on one old H5's world map Ashan was one same planet as Palaedra (or something like that) so there may be an actual connection.

From what I gather, that map was made for Kingdoms of Might and Magic and isn't considered canonical by anybody.

Thanks,
That gave me a good laugh! I've wondered the same thing. I always pictured Yog being rather dignified in a Wizard sort of way, but with a Barbarian's temper lurking just below the surface.
Oh well, the imagination is always better than the movie.

*squeals with glee*
Does this mean we get Jenova back? Mephala perhaps?
It'd be cool if Pegasi came back for HOMM6, and their Magic Damper ability affected both heroes and unit casters (the effect on units increasing as the Pegasi move closer and reaching maximum dampening effect if the Pegasi are adjacent).
If they need any storyline suggestions, tell them to give me a call. You know all about my writing skills Cepheus! ^_^
(I miss Ghosts of the Past. )

Well if we are looking for the "bad-ass hero" , then definetly Biara/Shadya or Markal...
Both of them had very interesting personalities...Biara was made epic by her B**CHINESS, and Markal was quirky and arrogant...aah good old times
But by personal preference my favourite hero woul be Zehir...he is always the last to join in

Maybe....but IMO that is what made her so exotic as a character in the game. But again, that is just my opinion.
But if we are to talk about 'bad-ass',she is the ultimate after Kha-Beleth-I mean, she manipulated an entire empire, and she was a strong hero.

Where's Tolghar? He's the best! With his King of the Stone Halls specialty, he was OP. Stun, stun, stun, stun... Heheh!
Also Raelag as Master of Initiative, was great! And his enemies can have their turns next year! So in the absence of Tolghar, I vote for "Master of Initiative" Raelag.
