Hello, I'm new to the forum, but I've played HOMM3 for years, and I found out about WOG about 2 years ago - I love it.
But there are a lot of things I don't quite understand. There's a ton of great content here on the forum to download, but it seems that everyone knows a lot about scripting/modding and you guys don't exactly make it easy for n00bs like me to understand anything.
What I meant with that is - it seems that I'm missing a lot of user created contents, because I don't know where to get or how to use it. Like in the "possible creatures" thread, some creatures are just amazing, but how can I use them? Will they just replace some of the old ones or can I choose which to use in which town? I searched throughout the forum and I didn't find any explanations..
Also about all the great new towns - how can I get them? Can I choose which town will they replace?
And can I simply uninstall all the stuff I don't like? Will I get the old creatures etc. back without having to reinstall Heroes/WOG?
I guess I really am a total noob, but I'd really appreciate any help.

EDIT: I was installing HOMM3 and both expansions while typing, but now it seems that I can't install WOG at all? I have Windows 7 and I get an error right after I click ok on the language warning window.
If I run it in winXP sp2 compatibility, it says that my current HOMM folder is somewhere in c:/.../TEMP and that I should place my .WOG files there? WTF?
