Seven years of HC
Another year - another Mvass anniversary. Unusually, this time I didn't miss the date - seven years ago today, I registered at HC for the first (but not the last) time. I didn't know what was going on - I was only twelve. But I got into a fight with Dingo in the now-deleted Forge Town thread - he was opposed to it, and I supported it (as I still do). There was a time when most of my posts were in the Tavern and Wastelands, and they were SPAM of the worst kind. But I was having fun. I joined Let's Have War (which, incidentally, is really strange to go back now and read) and started burning everything. I was soon kicked out, and broke the rules by creating a new account - Deimos - and rejoining with a new character. This time, though, I was more restrained in my actions and was able to participate in the plot, though as somewhat of a side character.
However, time passed, as it tends to do, and Let's Have War died. In the meantime, many new members joined HC, many of whom are still active. Nevertheless, I felt that historical period of HC was rather uninteresting. It seemed all of HC was to become mired in mere chitchat. I was growing bored.
And then I discovered the OSM, and the consequences were never the same. I happened to jump into a conversation in I Gave Up on Believing in God, and was drawn into a discussion about determinism and morality - I expressed an excessively Machiavellian standpoint, and Bak rightly noted that "with several billion people thinking that way, we have a problem". I gradually evolved, largely thanks to TheDeath, though of course I still think he's wrong about most things. On the other hand, going back and reading his posts now, I had misunderstood him on several occasions. With his help, I developed my metaphysics, ethics, and politics. Then came the lengthy discussions in the Love thread about interpersonal relations, this time with different opponents. They helped me develop a theory of interpersonal relations now generally known as "pillar theory". I maintain that many people still don't understand what it means.
Also in this time period I created my third account - DeadMan. Part April Fools' joke, part social experiment, I wanted to see how many people would agree with the outrageously evil things he said. I was disappointed - but not surprised - to see that many were willing to embrace his ideology. Coincidentally, the "official" joke that year was the removal of QPs, which DeadMan exploited quite adroitly, supporting the decision and naming it "Heroes Commune".
Then came the brief period of little activity - and now, as predicted, we're getting many new members thanks to H6 (though no doubt that game will not hold a candle to H2 and WoG).
More importantly, I have outlasted numerous members - the vast majority who were active when I joined are now gone, as well as many of those who joined after me. And so it shall be - when humanity is extinct and the Earth will be close to being swallowed by the expanding sun, I will be making my "Four billion years of HC" topic.
My powers also include teleporting.

Pillar theory is just a byproduct of being tall and sexy or a girl really fancying you / being pretty desperate / wishing to get even at an ex that evening. As such it is less likely to work for the less attractive portion of males for and therefore can hardly be regarded as a universal theory.

Funny. The few years i remember you MVass when you first came on here, i always thought you was an arrogant Butthole who thought he was better & smarter then everyone else.
I am sure that has changed now that you are in your 20's?

AHH now we are getting somewhere
I seen many who are really smart but also very young.
Many like to think they are better then people who are older to prove a point.
What point is that is beyond me?
Basically i am smarter then you, so you must be dumb.
