It's already been released for Xbox iirc, and there should be an iPhone app as well, not sure if those are free for those who have bought Minecraft on the computer though, sure hope so.

While I don't play the game I really enjoy watching Yogscast on youtube... the olympics were fricking awesome

I dislike how they restrict your freedom on Xbox, not to mention they added 'shops'  .

I've yet to try out the Xbox version, although I hear it's not finished yet.
On a different note, my mushroom farm is finally starting to become huge, soon, it will reach the skies, and then I shall control the entire mushroom business in my world! BWAHAHHAHAHA
That is, until 1.8 comes out, when I'll move everything to a new world, since the new biomes won't be appearing in worlds created prior to 1.8.

Wait, don't they generate if you travel far enough in old worlds?
Also I am nearly finished with building my tomb world

Nope, cause they're so different, and made with a completely new set of code, so you have to generate a new map for them to be able to spawn.
Carrying over your stuff is easy though, all you need is InvEdit for the materials and MCEdit for the buildings and stuff.

I remember back in like 1.2 I tried copying my construct with mcedit.
But then I accidentaly the whole world

hehe, yeah, hate when that happens. My newest world is the one I've done the most things in, in previous worlds, I was only looking for diamonds all the time, and deleted the world when I died. But in this world I've actually built something, so I want to keep that in my new one.
Also, there'll be npc villages in 1.8, seems cool.

Im more excited about larger natural underground areas.
Means that the tombs will be alot easier to build since making space takes about 75% of all the time used for making them

Well yeah, but then again, vanilla minecraft is pretty good as well, and I'm not finished exploring it enough to start installong mods . Been thinking of getting mo'creatures though...

But it takes away the feel of the game. For example, the equivillent exchange mod, it gives you everything at the exchange of some dirt, it's just not fun.

The Yogscast got their hands on a prereleased version of 1.8. And all the new stuff seems a bit like a mod, npc villages and randomly generated abandoned mines and stuff. Looks like it might need some finishing touches though.

I could only see Necrons dancing to the sound of a burning Craftworld or Joy Division
I got the .jar file which was "leaked", very buggy, but finally am able to play it!
I am currently sitting in a box with 3 Endermen around me, I used a peep hole to look at them..

I fear that into the 1.8 Enderman will start griefing as I've seen it takes out some blocks, oh but anyway i have to wait the server plug-ins
before I can play.
