ok. wisps give 1 mana, since you could probably divide them in 3 to 5 stacks in the early game, that means 3 to 5 free mana points, so that's better than the 3 mana points I originally planned.
considering some other levels 1 like peasants, skeletons or goblins, the wisps are stronger, and their ability isn't worse.
1A gives 2 mana, 1B gives 3.
note that 1A can't repair if he gives mana and vice-versa.
I found something funny (well... ) demonic fire isn't a fire attack, it has no element. changing it has no effect. that game makes a lot of sense sometimes...
as far as I know, possible combos are the following ones :
with aura of lightning vulnerability :
lightning bolt, chain lightning, call lightning, call storm, uber chain lightning?
no effect on lightning breath, stormbolt and stormstrike
with aura of earth vulnerability :
stone spikes, meteor shower, implosion.
no effect on poison I think
with aura of fire vulnerability and mark of fire :
fireball, firewall, armaggeddon?, searing aura, liquid fire breath, magic arrow?
no effect on fire shield, magma shield, mark of fire, flame strike, incineration, demonic fire
with aura of ice vulnerability :
ice bolt, circle of winter, deep freeze.

note that demonic fire is now a destructive magic perk. quick gating becomes a racial perk for inferno. all the perks that required demonic fire now require quick gating (except demonic retaliations and searing fire of course)
magic mirror becomes a luck perk, artificial glory becomes a racial perk for academy (they have 6 mechanical units out of 21)
mobile machines doesn't increase the initiative, but +2 speed for all mechanical creatures isn't a bad perk anyway.
Duel heroes have been modified too, and the speciality "radiant" is replaced by "talented warrior"

noticed that the battle mage has a death cloud attack (only the visual effect), have you found anything else that should be fixed?
Fixes :
-No death cloud animation anymore for battle mages.
-Names and descriptions of weeks related to academy have been changed
-new light and background in the city
-dominant schools in magic guild are destructive and light, instead of light and summoning.
some new changes :
also their favourite magic schools are now light and summoning instead of light and destructive.

the skillwheel is fixed. as well, some abilities have been changed :
-it is now impossible to learn flamming arrow. instead you can learn imbue arrow (it is an offence perk, right under archery, both for wizards and rangers)
-wizards can learn imbue ballista with the same requirements than the rangers
-instead of imbue arrow, rangers have know your enemy as a class perk.

the same as before, the 3 racial perks, protection, hell wrath and preparation under defense, arcane training, counterspell and arcane assimilation under sorcery and hellfire, searing fire and master of fire under destructive.

usually I leave sentinels and blades at home, they can fend off most thing that attack my castle. since no blades i use the other upgrade instead of will-o-wisps. I use dream guardian They'd good at blinding. I use both thunder and storm crystals, 1 stack of each. I always favor nebula more than garuda. Finally i also both use chosen and illuminated. 1 teleporting and attacking, the other teleporting and phantom forces on dreams guardians.
Creeping is very easy. In the start just wait until you have battle mages or their upgrade. They go well with wisps. I go for the mimic crystal fast and split them into 3 stacks casting lighting bolt. When I get storm crytals or nebulas, it's just them killing alone In some situations i only use the thunder crystals and not storm crystals by the way.

I'm not sure why you split the mimic crystals? they have the titan ability.
I hope I can make the arsonist stronger in a future version. now he already increases the damage from searing aura, but should also boost fire shield, incineration and demonic fire.
the garuda should be pretty strong no? especially if you got the ultimate. preparation + hell wrath + searing fire.

I think you could adjust snow texture in town view so it received / reflected less light. Beach disco lights hardly match arcane town.

I'm not sure what you mean, when you change the background, it automatically changes the light as well. but models effects don't receive the light, that might be what you meant?
