Making HoMM III Videos-Looking for Basic but Essential Tactics/Tricks
Hey guys,
I have a Youtube channel for mostly fallout videos that has a decent amount of subscribers, and I want to put up some HoMM videos; partly for fun and partly to try and get more people into this great game series, if I can. I'm planning on putting up videos showing off all of the towns of HoMM III and just some gameplay for fun, along with maybe some basic tactics.
My question to you is, if I were to put up a video just detailing some basic but very useful tricks and strategies, what would you recommend? The two that come to mind immediately are hero chaining and fodder stacks, but I'm sure there's a ton I'm missing, as I was a casual player and never really did MP against other humans.
What else would you recommend I include? Stuff like how to wipe a Utopia with Hydras and stuff like that I might do, except I'm not quite sure of how to do that myself lol.  Any suggestions or recommendations would be great, and I'll be sure to credit you in the video! Thanks!

Just read the Homm3 tactic thread.
You will find tons of good things illustrated with pictures, so you can easily do it yourself and make a movie.

ask good players at Gameranger about real-time broadcast of their games using Mikogo program. You can record and post it later, most interesting games

Maybe some ideas from what is already done.
Maretti posted many videos of some online games in his youtube chain and some vs the computer but all very interesting :

Very good idea anyway, there are never too much videos and hope many players will follow and share their knowledge  .

Good idea, I'll definitely have to go back through there again! Hopefully not too many of the picture links are broken.
Thanks for the suggestions, guys! I can't wait to get home in a week so I can start playing (and recording) HoMM again, I'm suffering from withdrawal at this point.

Guys, please add some music track to your videos. Watching a 15 minutes combat video without any musical track is depressing me 
At least if we had the combat sounds, but that's hard to record.

I should be able to record the beautiful sounds of HoMM III in all of their majestic glory! 
I also talked to Mr. Romero on Youtube, which was pretty cool.

What program do you use to record? I use camtasia but it crashes when I try to record on fullscreen and try to capture sound too. I didn't try other modes because it's not practical.

I use Fraps and it records sounds quite well.
EDIT: Hmmmm, I looked through the entire Tactics thread and theres a lot of really good stuff I will most likely record (and credit the people who posted it, no worries!) but I was unable to find any pics of how you can take a tope very early with serpent flies and chaos hydras. Anybody know of a thread that illustrates this technique? Thanks!
