(H5 TotE MP) The Six Strangers
Let me start by saying this is my 2nd map made with the H5 map editor and is temporarily called 3 vs computer. However the layout is 3 human controllable teams above ground and 3 below ground, each with their own visually distinct areas. Every human controllable team shares their area with a castle of the same alignment that is controlled by a computer opponent. So there is one computer above ground (which I will call computer #1) that has 3 towns and one below (computer #2)that also has 3 towns. I've distributed the resources between the computer opponents, so for example if the Sylvan team conquers their computer opponent controlled town, then computer #1 no longer has access to Wood and Gems. Every area looks quite different but is completely balanced with the other five factions (which took a lot of work and planning especially when it comes to movement and access). I could fill up a whole thread with the features I put in the map, but it's better if experience them for yourself.
I've designed this map for 4 stages of play, the first is to conquer your immediate area and build your town and hero up facing random monsters. Then you have to fight a computer controlled opponent of the same alignment to consolidate your factions area. Then the play opens to "special" areas which contain some high level artifacts and some high power adventure map buildings. Finally it's a 6 person FFA.
Now the bad news, I'd say the map is 97% complete at this point. It's completely playable, looks great and is balanced, however my video card fried itself and all the ones I've tried so far are not able to display the textures for Heroes 5(the dreaded wash out problem I've read a lot about). Which prevents me from doing the final stage of beautification work on it in the short term. I can still fix any balance problems that may have escaped my notice and finish building the last 2 special areas(everything is in them at this point). So I can't think of a better time to release this to the community for feedback. I've played through it 5 times with other people and everything seems great.
I appreciate feedback of all sorts since I'm considering Level Design as a career. Thank You
I changed the surface lighting scheme to something cheerier which also makes everything look nicer

Maybe just a precision : the map is called Battleforce in the menu of the maps. 3 vs computer is the name of the file not the map. Just so eventual players can find the map and play it

The Map is now called The Six Strangers.
Also it's best to play it on Hard, the AI isn't overly crippled by the setting.
