Dunno if it had anything to do with smarts. It was, *ugh*, elementary.
A girl professing to be as in love as she was wouldn't make those kinds of statements as a newcomer about another man, especially considering how all-important tonality is lacking in writing and therefore ripe for misinterpretation.
Second, Acu like totally spazzed out in the VW thread. Your hot-blooded Latino manliness couldn't abide your girl being insulted and you had to stand up for her. Priceless.
Last, and this one's just a guess, it was your idea to try to surprise people by making them guess who's girl she was. While gamely trying to make you happy, her heart wasn't into it (after all, she's in love and doesn't see the need to keep it a secret). Because of that, she wasn't paying close attention to what she was saying. As long as she didn't mention Aculias by name, she'd satisfied the letter of the law of the agreement.
Anyway, welcome Selcy to HC.

Ok maybe we didnt play it as cool as we thought or rather I didn't. Like you said I wanted everyone to know, i's shout it from the rooftops but it was fun till some people decided it would be fun to start thowing hissy fits lol. Acu was my hero standing up for me hes a fantastic guy
