I invoke the power of the gnoll, the lizardman, the serpent fly, the basilisk, the Mighty gorgon, the wyvern and the Hydra to get Fortress H3 to beat Everyone and return to H6.

They get a bad rap because you have to kinda delve beneath the surface to see their strengths; they look weak on the outside but Fortress, at least, has a lot of hidden power.
Man, if Fortress wins this contest and then still doesn't get even a spiritual successor in HVI...people liked Fortress, dammit, Ubi! Put it back in!

Got a bit busy today, sorry for the late judgement.
Winners of the semi-finals are:
Fortress H3 with 18 wins
and
Warlock H2 with 14 wins
So now, we proceed to the
FINALS:
So, we're not only playing the true finals, but also the contest for place three & four.
Place 3&4:
On one side, the dark hordes of the undead, lead by the cold Death Knights and the sinister Necromancers...an applause for:
Necropolis (H3)
On the other corner of the battlefield, the horde of demons, the evil, firy, epic...Inferno
Final:
Here we gather for the final, the total match, to see who is the one and only best HoMM-faction ever. Are you ready? sure? Then curtains up for the last, most important round of the competition:

Also, we're not voting for best as in most powerful faction, but which has the best overall atmosphere.
For finals, I vote H3 Fortress. For second runner up, I'm indifferent, neither H3 Necropolis nor H3 Inferno did anything particular for me.
