Threadlocked
Who locked the Satire thread? The thread fully complies with the code of conduct. The thread was a satirical representation of a very niche 'type' of player, one who victimizes other players, particularly new players and clan players. If someone felt targeted then it leads one to wonder if they victimize other players? I hope not.
I think most people have a sense of humor, and got the joke. Some are now confused about it all (there is no ULOSE, someone made a fake post). I think I can laugh about this as well but I think I'm done with the satire on these boards for awhile. Some people are jumping at shadows and take offense at the wind blowing in their direction. I'm going to heed the warnings offered by the reactions of Mr. jiels and Ms. Pandora and let the nerve endings heal around here. Only recently returned to ToH I admit I don't know the full climate of the boards.
I still think locking the thread was unnecessary. How are we to express our thoughts with locks placed on our minds? Is a Senate majority required to approve a thread around here? LOL.

My reaction wasn't to your post, if you think i was putting you down it wasn't how i intended to come across. My opinion was about the direction the thread took.. the fake 'ULOSE' player insulting jex , andi motor.. and then the same old arguements again.
If people can make light of something, and get others to laugh at themselves and maybe relax a little that's cool - but that really isn't what happened there.
P.S it wasn't me that locked the thread, i don't have the power  I just said i didn't like it, hehe

Thats cool, Pandora, I understand now. I couldn't tell what you were asking 'why this is okay' about. I admit it appeared to be a request to shutdown the thread.
I didn't think Ves did it. I figured it was some righteous moderator trying to protect everybody from the heresies of wit. Its too big a job for one man or woman!

If Hexa was the one who did it, then it is a shame. This guy has no idea about the game (look at his previous posts about strategy on hourglass) and is doing power abuse here in the name of so called sissy honor.
Go away man, I don't come to tell you how to do your job in life, stop chickening about our fight, they are about improving the game and the leadership in a comunity already in flame.

Sal, I don't think the thread being closed was a matter of Prometheus being shut down, i'd guess it was the others and what came after. Some were funny, ie Ves' post but a lot of it was just mean

Satire is essays by Swift or novels like Gulliver's Travels. Go read them.
Then compare them to what you posted. What you thought was satire was obviously not. When compared to actual satire, it is clear that it's nothing more than an attempt to provoke people. It worked. If you think I'm going to be quiet when you mock people for their different opinions, guess again.

To begin with only a moderator of ToH can close a thread in ToH. So that makes the following contestants list: Zud,Deth, Vesuvius (Or Valeriy-but I guess he wouldn’t close it if a mod doesn’t want it closed). Since it wasn't Ves and Deth hasn't been around it must have been Zud.
Conclusion: Get your facts straight before u post
As for your lovely remark about my gaming skills…just remember that I only started playing online … a month ago. Of course you are a rare individual that MASTERED the game as from the very first time u played online….So sorry that I’m not worthy to stand in your shadow .. OHHH all knowing and Powerful Salammm…

To whom it may concern
Promo is THE nicest guy I have played in this game. He is a great player who also carries himself with good wit and good feelings over in-game chat. To those who wish to disparage him, I will gladly play you and take your points, but seeing as how Promo was always one of the best players in Season 2, I am sure he doesn't really need my help.
Not that many people disparaged Promo in this thread, just thought I would stand up for an old foe/friend.
