Good, I intend to have more of them in the future.
Not that I have anything against Berny-dependant conversations.

In ship-to-ship battle, the helmsmen has traditionally been the most important member of the crew. He should be able to steer the ship so that it rams the enemy's ship and splits it without so much as scratching his own ship. He also keeps the ship from randomly drifting away, very good for fighting.
When attacking a land enemy, though, the helmsman is present in the fighting force itself... If the captain allows him to be.
But I'm just going off of real life here, Berney will be able to tell you the real rules in the RP.
Answer: I am the demi-god of HCM Messenger I see all of what each member is looking at.

Well it is generally the same except that on Tuletan ships, the helmsman is usually the weakest one of the group physically, but one of the strongest.

Quote: And I am in fact a Norwegian if you absolutely must know thank you
Well, I asked because the name of your char has meaning in Dutch. Which in turn could have implied a certain knowledge of the language.
For the curious among you, his name loosely translates to William of the Seawolves. Even though the spelling teeters between modern and archaic.
edit:
Ok If Sir-Dragon just crashed his ship into ours and it comes to a fight. I ask Berny to RP Eduardo for a bit.
Mind that Eduardo is gung-ho and will join any fight gladly. He's a skilled fencer even though a cavalrysabre is a bit on the heavy and cumbersome side for ship combat.
I ask this because I need to get a couple of good hours sleep before my exam tomorrow and I have a fairly lengthy dentist appointment afterwards, so I likely won't be able to do much RP'ing untill the late afternoon tomorrow.

No I crashed the ship into one of the piers next to the one where your ship is docked. big difference
PS: And I have probably just made the biggest gamble(possibly the the biggest mistake) of a lifetime, wich not only treathens the life and career of my char, but the lifes and careers of all the players and the balance of the ship.
PS: Sorry guys but i just couldn't stand watching on the sidelines not doing anything about it. But at the same time felt extremely good doing it
