Skill / Ability Icons, location ?
Like the topic name says. Where can I find the icons used for the skills and abilities ? I've looked through the DDS files in the data.pak but found nothing. I prefer not to use the ones I get when using Google, they have this brown background.
I was planning on changing their looks.

data.pak\Textures\Interface\CombatArena\Faces\*Faction*\ for Creatures.
data.pak\Textures\SpellBook______2618\Spells\ for Spells.
data.pak\Textures\HeroScreen\Skills\ for Skills.
data.pak\Textures\HeroScreen\Perks\ for Perks.
data.pak\Textures\HeroScreen\Specializations\ for Special Skills.
I hope, I could help you

Let me know how changing their looks goes, I've been getting graphics bugs when I change the icons.

There seems to be a minor issue, I can't see the folders you specified anywhere in the data.pak or any of the others for that matter :S I'm using the CE of Heroes 5:ToE. I see plenty of data.pak/Arena/ and stuff, but nothing like /textures/ etc.

They are in the same places for me.
Here's a tip that might help if you have 7GB of space on your computer. This is how I find stuff in the .pak files.
Try unzipping all the *.pak files in the data folder then just use the search feature to try to find files that might work. Make sure you unzip them somewhere else, don't unzip them in the Heroes game folder! All of the texture and icon files are *.dds files.
I use the windows search feature and have it list all .dds files then I sort them by location and scroll through that way when I can't guess what the file's name would be.
I hope it works for you because then you can tell me how you did it!
