Oh man, it's hot!

I really like new adventure objects, hopefully they will have some potential for reuse.

You're not the only one who finds them attractive and this way we may soon see them used in many different ways, which is not good . Personally I have some ideas for them as well.

So much biting irony, stop it or I'm gonna cry.

Changelogs posted by MoP contain hundreds of features, but only a few of them may be described with screenshots. We all know that posting pictures is key to success and public attention (remember HotA?). Besides, I'm not sure how fascinating will be a simple list of features. Besides #2, I'm too lazy to translate those kilobytes of changelogs. That's why I post mostly images.

And yes, these objects are already under discussion on DF2. Your opinion is always welcomed, here or there.

No irony at all. The period of mass objects importing is over I think, now maybe we can focus on quality. Of course he is free to use whatever he likes, for me they look outside Heroes textures (on what you will put those tunnels? None of mountains fit).

But who cares about minor problems, the major one will be as with Phoenix mod: probably available in english translation several years later.

Thats why the graphics we see are so important, because we will not get it to play before a long time. Blame the language barrier.

Well, my english is far from perfect, but I have some "native-speaker" fellows who possibly will assist me. I believe it's easier to revise translated texts with mistakes rather than translate from an unknown language. About a year ago Jim helped me a lot when corrected my translation for TPM. However, I still don't know how difficult it was to work with my translation.

Anyway, I'm personally responsible for the english version of this mod (I'm now an official member of the team. Actually MoP took me just because I like to chat here with you guys), so I'll start the translation right after the release (or may be even before). If I find some english-speaking volunteer for assistance it'll be a matter of a month may be.

@Aleee,

It is a great satisfaction to help people who are working on worthwhile projects, even in a small way, so of course I would like to be on your volunteer list of possible English-polishers.

Your English seems very good to me, and most of my suggestions would probably involve subjective differences in style, rather than outright errors.  I would be very proud to speak a foreign language as well as you do.

Well, thank you for a compliment. I'll keep your offer in mind. Let's hope we'll always be able to find some time for great hobbies like H3 modding, scripting and mapmaking.

Probably, the last update concerning hero portraits. Here you can see dialogs for male and female heroes (all with XL versions).

I'm proud to introduce to you our second video.

It's possible that some features shown you've already seen on screenshots, but now it becomes easier to imagine how they really work. And, of course, we still have new things to show to you, so it's worth checking out.
Any questions are welcomed.

I'm also going to update the 1st post completely.

Nice vid, although it was moving too fast and so i missed most of it

The new features, gameplay and dynamics are really cool and some of them very practical (transfer all army between heroes etc). I noticed you scripted the first attack ability from Heroes IV. Really nice stuff.

I have two suggestions though:

First of all, you introduce a whole lot of new things and so inevitably some of them will appeal to the players and some of them not. My first suggestion is to make the changes optional (maybe add a new WOG options window just for this mod).

Second of all, i got to say this, (you may not like this) but i suggest you refrain from changing creature defs. The creatures are far from homogenous and well, it doesn't look good (in my opinion that is). I would suggest that you stick to gameplay changes (again some of them are really great).

Anyway, it's your call. I thought i'd critisize point out one or two things.

Do you mean any particular feature or the whole mod? Thoughts on the second point can be found in the first post.

This mod does make the game more difficult. And if you don't enjoy this whole idea it will make no difference whether some option is enabled or not. Because the whole modification is about it.
Of course, all interface improvements are considered to be undoubtedly useful and indispensable.
Well, now we have only few features to think about. Of course, players' feedback is very important. But the first version out won't contain a list of options similar to the WoG's one. Let's see how it goes.

I also consider those creatures to be a bit clumsy, but many of them have interesting abilities, so it's not only about the graphics. Actually this is the easiest thing - to change DEFs. Anyway I still believe that they're much more better than WoG frankensteins, though I agree it's not the best of what our H3 community can offer.

Hard to say from screens why you think the game will be more difficult, but certainly different. When I hear "when you distract AI from you by throwing artifacts off on the adventure" I wonder how many times this distracted MoP or other players. Myself I use this feature as a strategic move rarely, mostly for creating additional puzzles. With or without it, nothing really changes.

if AI fights better in this mod, then definitely it will be harder.

A couple of screenshots. With these three you can imagine the whole skin picture. One would say the palette is too aggressive or acid and I would partially agree. Though it looks better in-game rather than on screenshots. Also as you may notice this one is different from the skin showed in the last video.

The first screenshot also tells us that the mod works with maps of its own format.

The next screenshot shows that an additional button appeared and it stands for the MoP-options menu.

New creatures with their respective dwellings.

There you can see mod's Help. For now this window is used to explain most obscure features of the mod when sometimes it's just impossible to avoid formulas. The feature you see there can arouse indignation but this is a part of the whole "Make it almost impossible on impossible" thing. Each and every hero on the map constantly loses his/her experience. Hero's level goes down as well as all the skills he learned when gained this level.

Great features about templates. The last one is however, IMO. There are hundreds ways to make the game harder other than losing permanently what you fought hard for. To avoid it you must fight constantly? What is the equation?

Now I believe the equation contains an error. Once it's fixed I can explain the whole formula.
Features like exp. loss and social tension are considered to be fundamental, though it's your feedback that can make the author change his mind about what is optional and what is not.
