Yeah, "Underground" is a good movie but not the best from Kusturica.
My favorirites are:

1. Star Wars Trilogy
2.-...Dr. Strangelove, Conan the Barbarian, Terminator, Aliens, Good Fellas, Seven, Fight Club, Princess Mononoke, The Lord of the Rings, Silverado, Indiana Jones trilogy, The Unforgiven, Reservoir Dogs,...I left out plenty of great films that I couldn`t remeber now.

First Knight - with Richard Gere and Sean Connery

Hey I've watched this "GREAT" movie yesterday....
It was so bad... bad... bad... with such great actors and such bad movie.

This Zucker (the producer) made very good films (Naked Gun, Airplane, and other parodies) - why he thought he can made epic films - I don't know...

Wow. Hardcore fantasy fans here.

Dang.  Some people here really like special effects and fantasy settings.  I like fantasy, a lot,but there are few good ones, and most are Anime.  Well here is my list:

1) Fight Club
2) Dazed and Confused
3) Good Will Hunting
4) Dumb and Dumber
5) Chasing Amy

. . . and yes, I am new here.  This is my first post.  I couldn't help it either, this topic has no reason to be here, but everyone has an opinion on it.  Oh, and I can't flipping wait to see Lord of the Rings!  Bouya!

BRAVEHEART #1.   Comon guys, Braveheart>Gladiotor MAD TIMES! comon, for one thing, you guys say that the action is much better in gladiator, well how about 3 and a half hours of a movie!!! its got quality and quantity, as opposed to gladiator's single quality, and comon. I mean which is a better ending? Maximus out of all odds somehow snowes at Ceasar enought to fight him one on one? WTF! CEASAR YOU DUMB snow HE WAS THE LEADER OF THE LEGION YOU RETARD OMG!@!! well, ceasar is dumb, and the fact that they didn't spill his guts when ceasar was killed is stupid. Or you could have a less blockbuster type approach to the ending of Braveheart where the lead character dies and it is not a happy ending!! but in my opinion it is a terribly sad movie, i still cry even though i try not too. Cried infront of my old gf watching that movie, omg i thought i was so screwed, but apparently woman like that kinda stuff, anyways Braveheart is way better than Gladiator 100-1.  And William totally school's maximus when it comes to snowing up the opposition with tactics, flanking, assassinations, sieges, bravehearts got it all. I think that gladiator is more focused on maximus because the fighting is almost exclusively focused on him, but in braveheart i think they try and get you to imagine that nastyness of the battles, when they oil the fields?? DAMN THAT WOULD HURT! The slow motion in that shot was just perfect, you see the guys screaming and flailing nice and slow.  makes me shudder.  Oh, and William is such a playa! LOL he totally rammed the princess mad times! what a dis to the king! ok, well i'm done, but seriously you guys, how could you think gladiator is better? SHAME ON YOU!   hehe. ok, so i like Braveheart, leave me alone!!!

Wow i think i have read all posts in this thread now and no one has selected "Seven" for their list...i find that really strange since it will be my first choice

Ok, my favourite movies:

1)Seven
2)The usual suspects
3)Braveheart
4)Analyze this
5)Lock stock and two smoking barrels

The top 3 was really easy to choose, nr 4&5 were tougher since there are alot of good movies out there. The reason i take Braveheart ahead of Gladiator is simply because its a better movie. Gladiator is predictable and i really dont like the ending, Braveheart on the other hand really suprised me and the battle scenes were great. Man i wanted to kill all englishmen in the world after i saw that movie (friday night) but then it was premier league football on saturday and everything was OK again
