Heroes: Blood Moon
((Feel free to comment, suggest, etc. May need help with Lore especially))
Things had been silent for a decade, and the towns had not yet recovered from the brutal assault of the demons. Not even the Necromancers, who normally would have swelled their numbers thanks to all the death, have had a chance to recover. Demons are spotted, and word soon spreads. The demons have found their sovereign, and their numbers are legion. Worse, the being that leads them is rumored to be stronger then anything ever seen..maybe even immortal.
With the one weapon they had against the demons reveled to have been a fraud..the leaders of the various towns know they will have to seek out something that might finish this once and for all.
What they do not realize is, that the invading demonic army might be the least of their worries. Something far more dangerous has been disturbed, the balance has been shifted..and a war unlike any other is about to break loose. One that may see the entire planet..rent asunder.
While the demons will be a major threat..they will pale in comparison to the biggest danger. Won't give anything away YET, and a lot of people might complain when I do..but it will change alliances..blur who is good and who is not..and even if stopped..it will leave a broken world..
In the fields of battle, where magic was thrown with abandon..something stirs. A grey mist wafts through the air and bodies crumble to dust. Not even the mighty necromancers can bring back the fallen. In the Necropolipse, the bones fields of the dragons glow eerily green, and then vanish. All over..dragons, angels, and even the manufactured Titans vanish or cease to function. The grey mist seeps into the ground..and something stirs...

Something I made up and am working on. I figure there should be an 'end game' for Heroes..so this isn't technically Heroes 7 or anything. It is what Heroes 7 would be IF it was the end of the entire Heroes series.

It should not have been possible. With the eclipse gone, the demons should have been sealed away, but yet they were still loose upon the world. Only a fraction of them had actually been destroyed, when their old leader had been brought low, and their number was legion.
Not much has changed (yet) in the world (though a few less inferno heroes are around). All the heroes, creatures, and such are still in play..but with the losses that all the towns have suffered, they had forged an alliance. The prologue begins with a collection of the remaining armies and their mightiest heroes facing the new Dark Messiah (spelling?) and the endless inferno armies.
Both sides take huge losses, but the alliance of heroes loses..and it turns into a route. The heroes try to stand and fight, to turn the tide, but are captured. Yes, you heard right..ALL the heroes from H5 are now captives of the Inferno armies. The remaining armies that stood against the inferno are scattered..broken...
The towns as they were known are no more. The object of the prologue..is to rally the creatures, and forge a new town..one which the player gets to decide what creatures go with what.
Limits .. You can only have 1 creature per tier. Since the 7th tier creatures have vanished..only 6 tiers. Neutral creatures, creatures from different factions, etc..can be put under one banner. Wait, it gets better.
The hero..is customizable. Their racial special, their hero special..it is up to the player (there will be limits of course, a list which can be chosen from). Even what race and sex. Of course skills are no longer random, but much like h6 is supposed to be.
It doesn't stop there. Once the campaigns are finished, the player will have made 7 towns from the remaining creatures..and heroes for each town.
Then name each of the towns, and throughout the campaign, these names would be displayed. Of course in multiplayer the names of the towns and heroes would be set (or else there might be some ... *ahem* interesting names)..but the creatures could be assigned to any town, under any banner within the rules (ie 1 creature per tier, 6 tiers).
Freeing the heroes, finding out how the demons are still around, and discovering what lurks below the surface are the main goals..but there are going to be a few twists and turns .
Each campaign will focus on gathering the 6 types of creatures (at first)..and establishing the heroes and towns that the players have created. Each except the last two. There will be 1 campaign for all but 1 town..which I will get to in a second. The second to the last will be freeing the old heroes..and the last will reveal the mystery force...
The creatures that have already been placed in a town will not be available to 'recruit' for new towns. So each campaign will get harder, as less and less creatures will not be available..also..all creatures are considered 'hostile' on a map..unless diplomacy is had of course..there will be special structures where you will have to flag and decide which of the creatures to recruit for that town. Once decided, the structures will only produce those creatures, and any towns you conquer will only produce those creatures..and their will be no changing it once set..except by reloading to the time before you chose.
Note: This ONLY affects the campaign..so getting lopsided towns would be useless..for it would really hinder your later campaigns. I will have the multiplayer towns listed soon enough. Since the specials are limited, however, you will be able to import your own heroes..all level 1 of course (at the beginning of each map).
Also..there will be 'arena' areas..where all your towns/heroes/etc will be fully usable..with the disclaimer that some very lopsided towns might be present. There will be duel and full maps..on both type (arena and normal). So that all that work you do is not just wasted.
I'll post some of the new neutrals, new town buildings, and try not to give too much away about the final campaign
Oh and why one less campaign then towns..one of the towns (no no hints yet which) will be no more. If that means they shutter themselves away, or are destroyed...
You are also probably wondering .. "If creatures are chosen by the players, how the heck will towns be built!"
All but the creature abodes will be the same as the town normally would have. All the prerequisites etc. If a certain creature dwelling has to be built..then that tier of creature would still have to be built.
However, the creature dwellings would be at the bottom of the town, independent. The tiers could still be built when they were supposed to in that town. Only the creatures MIGHT be different...depending.
Also, mixing undead with any non mechanical/undead/elemental/etc creature will of course still suffer a morale penalty..while mixing other creatures will not..let me explain that .
Any 6 types of creatures can make up a town without penalty. You can have one from 6 different towns, and suffer no penalty (except the undead one). If you put creatures that are NOT under that banner in your army, however, then penalties will start to happen. The only reason they are working together under one banner is their own survival. Even the most bitter of enemies will work together without penalty, because they are working toward a common goal (and out of necessity).
So lets take Haven. In order to build tier two..you need the blacksmith. You would still have to build the blacksmith to build the level two dwelling, but the level two dwelling could be ANY tier two you have chosen.
However, in the editor, there will be a "Build your own town" mode where you can set the town up (within reason..ie you can't have a tier 7 able to be built on day 3 for example) as you like it.
