Hi I'm new here, but I've been lurking these forums for a while. And I'm a long time Heroes player!:G
That "A Melody" is supposed to be Haven's Theme.

ok, from what I can see, they seem to be doing a good job. getting veteran to handle the music, and Ben Disken and Tatyanna Yassukovich are pretty good actors (I've seen the latter on stage so I can testify). the only one which I am worrying about it Chris Cox's Goink. it feels like JarJar 2.0.

Well, he's supposed to play a stupid goblin, so you wouldn't expect to hear Christopher Lee in that role

I know, but the dialogue is just... too JarJar esque and has me worried. We don't need a "Wacky" goblin character going on about poo and girls in the story, the humour would be better filled by a character with wit rather than "Wackiness".

The problem with JarJar was that he was extremely out of place, he just did not fit in with the Starwars mythos.
Goink is of a different breed, he's likely a side-role at best, more likely a one-time or rarely recurring NPC who is supposed to bring a small amount of comedy relief sporadically and doesn't clash directly with the tone of the franchise as established.
HoMM is no stranger to a little zaniness, just we're not used to it in audio form as much.

I hope his stay is brief, then.

I have to disagree with that first part, buddy.
If we're talking Star Wars movies, then those have always been about showcasing state of the art special effects (much like Cameron's Avatar), so i'd say JJ Binx fits right in.
But yeah, whatever comic relief they're going for, I hope it's brief and not too forced. Nothing beats kicking goblins down from cliffs anyway.

If you pause you can see that he has quite a few lines (and I think I saw one of several pagees). Sooo, one-time, maybe not.

That Sanctuary theme is quiet beautiful, really.
I have a question I forget to ask everytime. In the collector's edition they will also release a soundtrack CD, right? But I don't understand why this is a plus as when you install the game all the music can be found in the game's folders and you can listen to them seperately. Let alone listening on my PC or mp3 player, 3 of them I've made my phone ring. So what is the point of that soundtrack CD? Am I missing something?

Some people just like their music on a CD. Although I would prefer a proper CD-cover, not just an extra disc in the game cover.

Not very innovative I guess...
Creating a mix from old themes is not my thing. At least, they are better than H5 ones.
