Just kidding from a completely ToH newbie with
0 game record thanks to the excellent ISP
services here. So don't take it too seriously.
We'll not take it too seriously , but I beleive you are absolutely right .

Maybe people just like to complain. People need to remember that life is much less fair than anything else in the world, not to insult anyone, just an unfortunate fact. My dad always and still tells me that life is 10% the snow that happens to you and 90% what you do with it. This I think could also apply to Heroes. Since people think that the maps are imbalanced in some way, people still manage to win game after game. The imbalances are not effecting the outcome of the game. The better player still wins, people just use it as an excuse as to why they lost, UNLESS they are playing hourglass against crag hack, with 45 attack, 30 defense 30 spell power, and 25 knowledge, because they got the helm of heavenly enlightenment, sword of judgement, and the rest of those arties, not counting the pack of archangels and pack of black dragons that joined. While you got a terrible topia, and other lousy arties with no joiners. Then you could say that imbalance may have been a slight factor.

Nothing very important to add, just quoting some funny remarks

RedSox Dad is right.
That is why some people can almost always win at randoms.
ie, Frank, Kuma, JTL, Midnight.
And why some people can always win at HG
ie Yawacko or Stuff.

I like to play in the open maps.because all the locations are visible and clear.all the game plans are clear in it and mentions.
some times i use random maps also.but I feel more comfortable on the open map.
