Elvin Q&A! (April Fool's you dummies :))
Due to popular demand the Q&A series continues, this time in text. Marzhin has been busy with work so he requested that I answer some of your questions. Unfortunately I am not at liberty to disclose news items that are part of ubi's PR plan but perhaps I could shed some light into other things you were curious about.
* How did you come to be part of the closed forum?
As you know ubi's policy was to get closer to the fans. As such they got in touch with various community representatives or iconic fans to help them with the development of H6. I was not there from the beginning and owe my invitation to the rest of the insiders as well as Noemie, our lovely community manager 
* How much influence do you actually have on the devs?
It's their show as you'd guess, we are just giving them feedback and advice. We may not have a say in everything but we've changed a number of things for the better.
* How come Marzhin was hired by Ubi? I had not heard of him until recently, has he made any considerable contribution or is he supposed to be an accomplished mapmaker?
Oh yes. You probably know of Legends of the Ancients and the Dark Messiah map, the latter at Ubi's request.
* What is it that you guys are discussing in the closed forum? There has been a growing concern about so few representing so vast a community.
Mostly balance, concepts, the direction of the game, fan suggestions and xerox's mom.
* Game release has changed a few times. Do we have a final release date?

* How does ubi intend to deal with the town screen outrage?
Considering the amount of complaints the screen issue generated, Ubi decided to do away with them altogether and instead focus on other aspects of the game that require polishing. After seeing how important the town screens are to the community they have decided to scrap their current concept which was sure to not satisfy the fan base and either add the real deal in a major patch or the following addons.
* Why do centaurs have zebra stripes in H6? Weren't they supposed to be a nightmare/human hybrid in the previous installment?
Those are not stripes but war paint. Centaurs are lousy shooters so the only way to effectively hunt zebras is by infiltration of the herd. They paint themselves so as to look like a zebra and when they get really close they strike! Sometimes they still miss.
* Why on earth were the monks replaced by female priesthood..?
Haven soldiers' popular demand. Her model was partly inspired by Beatrice from Heroes V.
* The introduction of a sharkman unit for the sanctuary has been a point of some controversy. Do they have their roots in Eastern lore like the rest of the lineup?
That is correct but they were also influenced by other sources.
* There seems to be an unhealthy amount of nude female spirits in this game, what there a reason for this?
The developers felt that a young female form represents better the calm and gentle nature of the spirits. Another possible reason lies here.

Xerox's mom was the first hint. I figured that if Autumn 2011 and the screens did not raise your suspicions that the zebra and show me your genitals would be obvious enough

You can't talk about new things but you talked about something Ubihole didn't reveal yet

Hey, it would be Hilarious. I even already made the scenario.
The opening:
Secret Faction revealed
Forge
Erwan: Welcome to Mothership the Nation of the last secret faction in Heroes 6. The faction called The Forge (talking in robot accent). The secret faction that you can unlock when you finished the final mission within less then 10 weeks.
(Showing Robocop, Laser Blade Elven and Darth Vader) The Forge has been well known to fans and being remembered as the unique faction that never get implemented. This time, we live up with the challenge. You can even see familiar faces (showing darth vader force choke Priestess animation in combat).
Forge unique racial trait is their dependence on battery, it is both their strength and their weakness. The secret 6th brother is the nerd among the others, he is so nerd that no one even his father remember his existence.

Yeah gmt +3 here. I did not intend to keep this up for longer than it would take someone to read it through, as such taking a more cautious title/content wasn't a big priority

Is this an april's fool joke or is it real?
If it is real, will Xerox mum be a playable unit?
Edit: Seriously some of this stuff is great! I thought heroes 6 was gonna be like heroes 5 v.2.04, which basicly again was heroes 3 v.9.01.
But now I see it's an entire different game that still deserves the name of heroes. An experience I cannot be without! I think my interest in this game just inversed itself there...
