Unleashing the Bloodthirsty
Hello everyone. I have a problem when i try to play Unleashing the Bloodthirsty SOD map.
When i capture Rampart Town and go to Fortress, I meet Pink Hero and i cannot beat him  . He has about 20 Hydras, 20 Chaos, 50 Gorgons, 50 Wyverns and some Dragon Flies. And i have 504 Grand Elves, 55 Cyclop Kings, about 60 Thunder Birds and 90 Orge Mages.
When battle begin, he move first. He cast Mass Haste then Hydras and Chaos attack my shotter, they die extremely fast  and cannot shoot anyone.
I am currently in Month 1, Week 4, Day 3. 
Can someone tell me how to fight with him? and if you can, please show me a video.

Thank you! but I have read it, angelito uses Grand Elves to shoot down Hydras but i can't. I need more details

Since this thread has already been opened I will answer here for the ease of the sake.
Try to make pink attack you in your rampart. If so the battle should be relatively easy as the enemy despite it has teleport won't use it before the very end (in case it uses it)and thus be able to break through (you should buy ammo cart in El Regueldo before you leave as the enemy may start summoning earth elementals. Did you collect all the elves from the external dwelling just below the rampart. This will add approx. 70-84 elves as you will enter the dwellings around day 6-7 week three (depending on when you leave El regueldo, many do day 3 week 2 which allow you to gather even more elves, but then you have a week less stronghold army) and then you can collect the elves again the following day (beginning of week four). From there you go to the sixth elf dwelling before you attack the rampart early to mid week 3 or early week 4. Then go behind the Rampart and open the quest guard to attract pink and fight in the castle.
In the fight the dragonflies will fly in and attack and killyour wolf raiders. When it is your turn slow him and wait with thunderbirds. The kill his dragonflies with your elves and wait with cyclopes (boost these with magi ogres). The wywerns will approach, shoot them with cyclopes and orcs. Next round let his wait with all or shoot hydras with elves (only if full arrow, otherwise wait), let his wywerns attack you orcs and attack wywerns with orcs on their turn to take away retaliation (goblins can do this too). Shoot hydras with elves and cyclops and kill his wywerns off with ogres and thunderbirds. On third round wait with thunderbirds, shoot hydras again (as many shoots as possible before he uses air shield).
Wait with ogre magi too as the computer tend to use earthquake and open your gate. It might not be round three, but when this happens the basilisks will usually be place in the opening of the gate, use ogre magi to block (possibly use goblins or remaining orcs to take away retaliation from the basilisks so that your ogres can attack. After the computer destroys the gate he will cast air shield and then start to blind your elves (there's a chance that it uses haste). At this point you should cast forgetfullness to minimize losses from the lizards and use thunderbirds and other remaining non shooters to block potential holes in the castle wall. At some point you can also use your thunderbirds to attack his catapult because this will attract his units away from the gates and walls (make sure he is slowed, for some reason he does not cast haste at this stage, but prefer to blind elves after they have shot so you just cure them on thunderbirds turn subsequently).
You will soon bring down his hydras (get Chaos hydras down first, not kill them entirely before you shoot unopgraded hydras, but lower them substantially. He might teleport the remaning hydras into your town. Kill these with thunderbirds and cyclops making sure not retaliation hits your elves. If your ogres did not kill or lower the basilisks substabtially shoot them with cyclops and let elves kill his lizards. He will start summoning earth elementals, but since you have ammo cart it shouldn't be an issue. In case you don't have ammo cart it is still possible to win, but you must try to finish him off before you elves runs out of shots (can be difficult if he casts air shield in an early round so bring ammo cart if available from the blacksmith in El Regueldo.
I hope this help, at least this was the way I deafeated pinks first army. Do no worry to much about your ogre magi and thunderbird casualties as these units will soon be replaced by fortress army. Focus on minimising loss of elves and cyclops. However, in good battles you shoukd not lose many thunderbirds as they can only going to be attacked by the remaining hydras.
Rush to get the other fortresses.

Thank you very much . I will try it right now. But do you have strategy to defeat him without defending Rampart Town? Can I attack him directly?

If you still have problems with that fight maybe you can send me your save and I'll have a look at it and made a video of the fight for you. Anyway, the best is to capture one of fortress towns first (avoiding fight on open air) so you can almost keep all your troops intact by making sure the Ai will not cast destructive spells. But still a fight on open air can be won ( I made both in my games), just you will lose more troops but it's nothing catastrophic .

I doubt so because the computer will haste his troops and kill your creatures as his forces are way more potent. Furthermore you have very few spells, which means that on open field the battle is almost entirely based on brute force, an aspect in which the ai is superior.
@Pacifist - If possible I would like the link to the video of the fight to see how you do the fight as I believe I can optimize my method.

I saw your save, it seems you lost an ogre mage, a cyclop and 12 elves and +- 50 orcs in previous fights. Maybe to capture Forest Keep. You can see a video here on my channel : http://youtu.be/lixh-WBtfak. Only lost some wolves and goblins with the turrets. In your save you can capture first the Fortress town and learn blind there then hold the siege there. A fight on open air with your forces is not worth the losses. The fight defending the fortress is very easy because of the double moat (I lost only 10 grand elves in that fight). From your save just go north to the right path, don't flag enchanter dwelling, just go for the town, the witch Toubib will chase you but not catch you and you can safely flag the star axis and enter town. Try that and if you still have problems I'll send you a save after that fight or a video if you prefer but the fight is really easy in town.

OK, I have done it  . His troops cannot reach my shooters  so I can kill him easily. Thank you!
But, I have some other questions: Is it the most effective way to defeat pink? Can you upload a battle in open air?
