wog crashing STILL! need HELP!

my WOG game is crashing. i have a fresh install of homm3 complete edition, fresh install of wog, with 2000 map objects mod.

running ms vista, and when i end turn, during a.i.'s turn, i believe, is when im kicked back to desktop with this message:

exception

location 8 3690
location 8 3983

eip = 0x004242d1, access violation

attempt to read inaccessible data at 0x16aee580

i can see its a map problem, i created the map from scratch, using 2000 mod, and i know nothing of scripting, or erm.

p.s. also, this is without me "wogifying" my map before play.

*edit* i was able to fix the erm script editor prob in maped by installing all previous version wog patches, then rerunning mapedpatch. is this erm script editor all i need to find my problem and fix it?

*EDIT #2* I TRIED INSTALLING ON DIFFERENT MACHINE, WITH XP, USING WIN98 AND WIN2000 COMPATABILITIES, FRESH INSTALL, TO NO AVAIL. SAME PROB AS BEFORE. I NEED HELP!

*edit #3* nevermind. i fixed it myself. simple, i was using a land object as a creature generator(in maped wog). didnt take. easy fix.

If you can post the map somewhere (box.net will host files of up to 25 MB for free), I will volunteer to take a look at it on my system.  I was previously able to diagnose a crashing problem with a New-Objects-1.09-Patch map (Ice Arrow), which was caused by using the snow-covered Subterranean Gate.

Also there is this, which I quote from another topic on this forum:

There are a few constraints when creating a wog map. Do not place monoliths exits on x/y=0 column coordinates or game will crash when AI takes it. Do not duplicate objects using Ctr/drag, there is a risk that game does not update the terrain under it and you are screwed. Do not use space bar to change object properties and do not use RMagntt.def/RMagtt.def/RRTeg.def, respectively blue animated  2 ways monoliths, those defs are bugged and will destroy any map. I had also problems with the new sand (Zsand02.def) when copy/paste, it changed to a bugged sphere of permanence and corrupted the map. (Salamandre)

On my own Windows 7/32-bit system, I have no problem with four or five other Heroes folders (WoG 3.58f, WoG 3.58f with the Stargate Atlantis Rising mod, Era 1.8, etc.), but have to play my 1.09 patched version in Safe Mode.  (It works fine there except there is no music or sound effects in Safe Mode.)  I was able to run it without any problems on my old Windows XP laptop, and I think inititally it ran okay on Vista/W7 but at some point started crashing.  I might be confusing the runs on XP with early runs on Vista and W7 though.  Anyway, now it will crash to a blue screen in 15-20 minutes of play unless I run in Safe Mode.

When installing on a Vista or W7 machine, I recommend putting Heroes in Public or My Documents instead of Program Files.  Otherwise, it is a pain to disable the stringent security settings for Program Files folders so that you can see your saved games.  Plus W7 may decide you don't have permission to install mods there (even though I am my "system administrator").  The easiest way to install is just to copy a complete H3/WoG folder from an XP using a flash drive.  Installing from the Heroes CD's, etc., is not necessary and in fact may run afoul of the aforementioned W7 super-security provisions.  (Although I have had about 90 Windows 7 updates since my original battles with its security system, and perhaps things are better now.)

Speaking of flash drives, you can also play H3/WoG from a flash drive without any installation, except End Turns take more time because the AUTOSAVE is written to the flash drive.  I think this also works as well as Safe Mode - something to do with the W7 DirectDraw system - which again may have been patched already by one of the W7 updates.

That is probably extraneous information, because with an immediate crash your (first) problem sounds like a map problem.
